Who are the teams most willing to deal a top 3 pick?

Cleveland, Boston, Philadelphia are about a 1 in 7 chance combined of winning one.

If its 1st pick we will be debating between Ayton and Doncic for weeks. If its 3 or 4 we will be debating the other guys, or trading it for a star.

The only sure thing is #2 Doncic, unless someone take him first, then we get Ayton. All good either way.

I'm one of the rare ones who wants Young after the first 2 picks. So I'd be thrilled if suns drafted him with 4.

Or get the #1 spot and trade back to #2 with an asset....lets say its atlanta at 2....we give them Ayton for Doncic and number 19...more leverage to move up.

The lottery drawing has already happened. The Suns rep that was in the lotto room (where the balls are being drawn) actually knows what pick Suns are getting.

Of course they don't disclose it till the lotto show however.

Since we can all agree the we won't win the lotto, we should start deciding which teams should win the lotto for it to favor us.

If Memphis wins, they will take Doncic since they already have Gasol and their very committed to him (even fired their coach for him).

If Atlanta wins, they also take Doncic cause Hawks longterm plan is to turn Collins into an athletic and mobile C like Capela/Turner.

If Orlando wins, they take Doncic as well since they need help with Gs than big men (Gordon/Vucevic).

If Dallas wins, they take Ayton since they just drafted a PG last season in DSJ and their high on and have lot of money invested in Harrison Barnes at SF. Ayton on that team makes more sense than Doncic.

TLDR; if you want Suns to take Doncic then better pray that Dallas wins the lotto if not the Suns...if you want Suns to take Ayton then better pray that any team besides Dallas wins the lotto if not the Suns.

NBA Reps forget to enter the Suns odds into the lottery generator. Suns dont get a pick this year.

NBA issues an official apology later.

Either that or we somehow beat mathematics and end up with the 5th pick.
