Gambo is a turd. Get's almost everything wrong. It would be stupid to release a 3-D guy with passable ball handling skills on such a cheap contract.

Yeah it would be completely idiotic to release reed. He's under cheap control for 3 more years and offers a useful skill set.

Not that it has to be an either or thing but I'd rather keep Reed than Daniels who's only under contract one more year and gives litterally nothing but 3pt shooting.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I am okay trading Reed for the right player. But reed seems like he is having a good summer. Like you said 3-D Guy. Might be good for bench

Agreed. Daniels would go before Shaq or Reed to me.

Turned to Summer League game between Hornets and Heat. They show the Hornets new coach with his lead assistant JAY TRIANO, and who makes their first apperance that i have seen... TJ WARREN sitting two seats from Jay and 3 from the Hornets coach. Is there any SMOKE I ask?

Kevin Love for Josh Jackson?

Suns would have to throw in a first round pick or something in addition to Jackson.

Some of them improve, some of them do not improve. It is not a science. Grant Hill improved his shooting on the Suns.

Ariza for example has improved a lot his shooting during his career.

After his first four seasons in the league he was a worse shooter than Warren and Jackson. I am hopeful yet.

I don't buy it for a second!

1. Kevin Love is not the type of 4 we are going to run with our new offense.

2. It's obvious we are going for a youth movement. We passed on loading our roster with bargain deals for proven NBA caliber players. We passed on Lopez, Payton, and many others.

Kevin Loves trade value is pretty low.
1) he has an injury history. Hasn’t played more than 60 games the last two years.
2) huge contract
3) his stats have been on a slow decline

Cavs would be lucky to get Josh jackson as a straight up trade plus some pieces to match salary. They are not going to get a young player with possible all-star potential AND 1st round draft picks. It not realistic.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had conversations about Love. It makes sense to reach out now that LeBron James has left Cleveland. Love can opt out next summer. So if you are Altman - you have to listen even if you said in public they are not tanking. They want to keep winning. Now, if Love has a very good year - he probably opts out and lose him for nothing. If he has a bad year - he might opt in but is that the best for your long term future. I don't know if Warren, Bender or Chriss and a future first is enough for Love but that is what I would guess Ryan is willing to part with. Is Altman wanting to put young players together or try to see. The Cavs have two guys, in JR and Korver who are each owed about 4m'; Hill is owed 1m. They will have tons of cap space next summer too. Do they want to pair that guy with Love. OR build around Sexton, Nance and hypothetically TJ Warren (not getting Jackson!)

The other stuff - Chandler, Dudley, Daniels (not all three but one or two) - maybe taking Korver - thats just contract filler

Well then they shouldnt trade for him. Let the Cavs keep him, finish 10th in the east, miss the playoffs and lose their top 10 protected pick and let love walk for nothing next summer.
