Nurk and a 2nd to Hornets for Josh Green

If this is the best we can do, I would just hang onto him and see if his contract is more valuable in the summer as an expiring.

Agreed - don't do something stupid with that contract and cost another draft pick for a team going nowhere

Just send him home until the summer

What exactly are the Suns trying to see through
They are over the second apron
They have lost 3 in a row
The Spurs are gaining fast

The team is not going anywhere - and Butler wouldn't have changed that

Trade Durant today!

Part of me would want to see Jones gone first so a new GM could take over with their vision and not have to clean up an even bigger mess. I worry what a KD trade would look like today.

That is fair but maybe Ishbia is more GM than he should be

I just know the value for Durant will be less - probably this summer

Dallas seems like they would want Durant

You gotta move on from KD today. Next off season the demand for him and return drops. Especially when the Suns completely miss the playoffs this season. Too bad Ishbia is now "I need to get what I paid for him" which NO ONE is going to give.

Why did we trade Ayton again? For a center who doesn’t even play? James Jones just gives talent away. A trade would be good but we need to remember who’s making the trades. Maybe we just let the season waste hope he gets fired and wait for the new gm to make moves

And what about the coach? Bud is not the guy if we enter the full rebuild.

Someone really needs to ask Ishbia why he just didn't call up one of those 26 other teams that would love to switch places with us and trade their roster, picks, and future for ours??

Feels like our owner has pissed off the entire league and they are just flat out refusing to do business or negotiate on even terms with us in particular.

He should cry louder.
Only Karma returning the favour when he was cocky that 28+ franchises would trade places with the suns.

We'd need picks coming back in a deal like that. Portis isn't the same player he was a few years ago.

Thing is, it doesn't matter anymore. Would rather get picks or a young player (like Goga) in exchange instead of a player who might be help a lil bit.

Picks coming back? I doubt it, Portis is better than Allen and he is 29 years old. Yeah, close to 30 but not an old player.

13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2 assists and he has experience in a championship team, can shoot the 3, can play both PF and C positions... he is more valuable than Allen IMO.

Lol, If it was Durant who was pushing the Jimmy Butler thing, then he technically still can team up with him in Golden State. The trade would only leave the Dubs with like 8 players though! If the Dray, Kuminga rumors had any real legs. And if so and that was the intent of the Warriors to entice Durant even after he said no, then trading for Jimmy and then saying "How bout NOW", would be hilarious!!

TRADE: The Washington Wizards are trading four second-round picks to the Philadelphia 76ers for a 2026 first-round pick, league sources told @hoopshype.

I feel like the entire league sees the ownership and FO as total chumps who'll cave to demands and overpay. These Suns buffoons have zero hand. I'm reading about them sending out a draft pick just because they want to get rid of Nurk so badly after trading their only number one pick ever for him last season. Pathetic and weak.

The only saving grace so far is that I didn't have to spend bucks on some Fox Sports sub to NOT watch most of the games this season.

He also suggested that we like Patrick Williams. Lord help us if we take on an even worse contract than Nurk that we'll need to give up picks to get off of in 3 years.

The Sixers are trading Reggie Jackson to Washington with a future first-round pick for Jared Butler and four second-round picks, league sources tell @TheSteinLine.

I am flying to Phoenix to see them play the Clippers on 3/4. The only positive is I could say I saw KD play a home Suns game. Flying in Monday, game Tuesday, flying home Wednesday. All to see this mess

I will say it again, send Allen and the picks for Avdija and we have our player that can play SF or PF and even play as a point forward. A starting lineup of Beal, Booker, KD, Avdija and Richards is good and maybe in the offseason we can get a better C and maybe somehow compete next season, it would be a step in the right direction if we are not blowing it up. We didn't need Butler and this whole trade just distracted our team and FO from really getting better and trading for role players and messed our chemistry.

Blow it up...these 'pass' in the trade machine. Plus, I'm not good at understanding Picks, etc, but surely we could grab a couple of picks in there, as well...

PHX / IND

Booker

FOR

Jarace Walker
Obi Toppin
Isaiah Jackson
James Wiseman
Myles Turner

+++++++

Durant

FOR

Siakam
Mathurin

Pacers then have:

Haliburton
Booker
Nesmith
Durant
Bryant (??)

Return to Phoenix Suns
