Look at how smug he is in the way he talks. You can just tell the guy is the biggest douchebag in every room he’s ever in.
I would like an update from this douchebag on if 26 other teams would still love to switch positions with the Suns.

Not sure if you are serious about it but that's great and every HC would love to be the next Suns HC.
Vogel got the money from 4 years in one year.
Budenholzer got close to $60M for one season.
Ishbia pays very VERY well.

There will be suitors for the reasons you mention and Mike Malone or Willie Green wouldn't be bad candidates
I just hope Ishbia also fires Jones and adds a new GM and HC
I think Jones needs to go just for the sake of change

I do feel bad for Budenholzer. All the pomp and circumstance of being an AZ guy, returning to the valley for a "dream" coaching opportunity, and getting handed the keys to this rolling fire hazard that could kill you every time the jet is turned.
I know I wasn't always the best with your coaching efforts, Mike... but you deserve better than this.

Gambo:
I would just say I highly doubt it will be a hire that wins the press conference. Need to get the right guy. I would expect they look for a good young up and coming coach - could be someone with experience as a head coach won't rule that out, just won't be the Malone/Jenkins.
No I do NOT expect the Suns to consider Mike Malone or Taylor Jenkins to be their next coach for those that are asking.

Speaking of blowing playoff games......
Houston
OKC
Detroit
Those are public enemies of Suns fans these playoffs. We need all of them to go down. Sooner the better too. If we can get that, we can get fantastic returns on either KD or maybe even Booker. They will all see that they need a true #2 scorer to play with their marquee guy ( or in the case of HOU- a #1 scorer).
Big rooting interests in Golden State, the Clips and NYK for the next month or so boys.

I am good not getting Malone - he kind of seems like a pain to deal with - like Budenholzer
I like the idea of Dudley. He seems like a positive guy for a first time HC
Willie Green might be okay too
Sam Cassell and those "big brass ones" might be interesting.
here is the thing -- if Booker is staying and it seems like he is- need two things
1) an alpha player next to him
2) a coach that can get the right out of Booker as if this team is going to be good -- Booker will need to turn it up this season. Find more in his game. Thats not Point Book.
Maybe a guy like Cassell would be good for Booker

For god's sake no Dudleys, Cassells or similar enthusiasts who know sh** about coaching a basketball team. It doesn't have to be a guy with a bag full of trophies, but someone who has a bball mind, his own identity and philosophy as a coach. I'd rather give it to Ghost or anyone else here to try if we are being so frivolous to hire a guy like Duds.

I thought Bud was the right guy when we hired him. Where he failed was his horrible communication skills with both the fans and his players. I just do not know why we did not fire him sooner.
He probably does not want our job, but my vote goes to Dan Hurley as our new head coach.

Im not gonna act like I know these guys personally to say its the contrary (maybe they would actually be bad) but what exactly tells you that current assistant coaches like Dudley & Cassell dont know anything about coaching?

You gotta think Dudley would be a good candidate though. The dude was probably the most unathletic guy during his time in the NBA and he was able to have a career that spanned over 10 years. To me, that means he has to have the intelligence to stay at such a high level.
This the kind of tenacity we need from our players.

If Booker is on the roster - its more than about X's and O's. Booker has to elevate his game
FG % down from the past couple years
Turnovers were higher
So the coach has to tap into Booker and get better play out of him.

Honestly after Ted Stepien, Ishbia has to be the dumbest owner in NBA history. There’s nothing that Sarver did which comes even close to this…including the sells picks for cash that Sarver did back in 2004-2006.
Their gonna create an “Ishbia rule” that teams can’t give up pick swapping rights in back to back years either.

I'd take 4 years of pay for a year of work.
