Nothing has happened yet, so we aren't in a tough spot at this time. As for inconsistent play, heck that is a ton of guys outside the top tiered players.

Heck, JR Smith killed his buddy, and he still catches on to teams, and no one talks about his off court bull.

Nothing except, you know, being charged with FELONY assault. What motivates you to try and polish all of the turds that this franchise repeatedly poops out?

Until I personally review DNA evidence in my lab and see high-def video footage of the event in question, it's all just hearsay.

Hey it's been awhile but I thought this was interesting (posted as a comment on the Arizonasports article).

"Erik "The Enigma" Hood, a Philly playground legend. The irony of this assault is that the guy they assaulted missed out on an NBA career for the same reasons that are going to send the twins to prison. Too emotional, poor work ethic and immature. Hood is a 6'-5" 36 year-old former ball-player who played a bit in Finland.

Helping the twins were former USC safety Geland Bowman. A 6'-1" and 205 pound athlete who is preparing for the NFL draft. 25 year-old Julius Kane and 24 year-old Christopher Melendez.

BTW the twins were mad becasue Hood was sexting their Mom. Hood and their Mom had been in a "relationship" way back while they were still in High School in Philly. He supposedly was a "father-figure" for them, helping them with basketball and providing financial support.

A woman who was with Hood at the games witnessed all five men kicking Hood while he lay on the ground."

ooo ooo
Pick me pick me :eyebrows:

the big loser here is the DBack from USC hoping to get drafted. I have to think they indicted the whole lot of them to flush out one or two guilty ones (if in fact guilty)

loyalty testing time.

Is it a five man clam up or perhaps one steps forward and takes the heat.

Frank is right on the money.

The cops know that not all charges will stick. One or two will take the fall. It will be interesting to see who falls first.

They will very much likely not get any jail time...

But still... no place in the Suns team.

Where's JDLAW for some legal insight?

Best/worst case scenario time?

IMO we waive these bums or trade them for a bag of peanuts.

The Suns (and the majority of us fans) have stood by and supported their immaturity and lack of growth as professionals for long enough. And oh yeah, gave them $50m to divide between themselves. Short of feeding them each night I don't know what else we can do to get through to these two clowns. They're an embarrassment to this once proud franchise.

Honestly, I'm calling the 76ers and asking for Covington and filler. Send them home and get something for them...

Did you read the article, and what InLen wrote? I'm guessing no, you have not. :banghead:

The article says the twins were ordered to appear in court, and warrants were issued to the other three. InLen said his roommate said the detective was making his comments greater than they actual were. Moreover, InLen said he was surprised that Keef was being charged for the same offense.

So again, vague reporting and still only witness interviews so far. It sounds as if the police are trying to make more out of this, according to the only person here that actually knows one of the witnesses. I'll wait for a trial. If it goes to trial, hopefully we have some sort of out clause on their contracts. No turd polishing going on by me, and please tell me where I said anything close to that? :(

The funniest comment in the article was someone saying it was the first time he had heard of the twins working together in a five man team.

I agree with you because I am biased against the MoBros. I think they are fine backups but I don't think they are good players goign forward. I honestly see Kieff as a Drew Gooden type of guy. Someone who comes in, give you the occasional 20-25 point game and and give you about 6-7 rebounds but is best coming off the bench.

Statistically Keef did better last year coming off the bench, considering he played five less minutes. This year Marcus was about the same whether coming off the bench or starting. He only did better when he played 30-39 minutes (16 games, 11 starts). So both seem to be better coming off the bench.

Our role players have to be smart players, every great team in the league have players with high basketball IQ around their All Stars.
We don't have All Stars and our role players are dumb on and off the court? Come on, at least we need likable players.
I don't care if they go to a trial, to jail or not or whatever. ...I want them out of our team.

God this season just keeps getting worse and worse.

Its getting to a point where these Suns players are a god damn disgrace to the city of Phoenix.

I'm with you man, and just what I said in the previous post ha :D

But I don't think these guys have positive trade value any more.
