Re: Season Speculation, Trade Ideas & Discussion Pt. 2
It's so sadto hear ESPN reporters and others come on the Phoenix radio and call us out on our BS. Basically saying we've seen this before MoTwins, Dragic, now Bledsoe. At some point it's not the players, it's not the coach, it's something dysfunctional that needs to be addressed ASAP.
We're being humiliated nationally. Our fan base deserves better.

Sure, Makes perfect sense, since both Saric and Okafor have proven to better players than Warren and the completely ill-mentioned Len...
What is it with this place that wants to see Warren and Len fail so hard?? I've never quite seen anything like it. And now with our best player soon to be gone, Warren has now taken over as our BEST all-around player on the team, but hey, let's put him on the bench, because that's what teams typically do...I mean, Curry, LeBron...they ride the pine every night! Am I in Bizarro world, or something?
Sorry, alphagorilla, but I do not see your reasoning whatsoever. If you were wanting to tank, maybe, but then you wouldn't start Booker, I'm guessing.

Kevin Pelton is on with Gambo - he has three deals
Nuggets: Mudiay and Faried
Magic: Elfrid, Augustin and Herzonja
Cavs: Shumpert and Frye with a pick
Heard that live. I think the Cavs deal is crap. That leaves Denver or Orlando. I would prefer the Orlando deal. What about you?
Hezonja is a bust.He can not play.
Augustin is a solid backup PG, but we are OK at that with Ulis/James, so we do not need him at all.
Payton is a meh player. Not sure if he is an starter in this league, not a good shooter or a good defender.
I would hate this trade. I would prefer to wait a little more...the damage has been done already.

it was general enough that I think we were supposed to draw conclusions. If he were really at a hair salon, he probably would've said so, either today or yesterday. We were supposed to draw conclusions. He doesn't want to be HERE.
Thanks for the clarification.

The Denver deal of Faried or Arthur plus Mudiay probably is the best deal
But until Sarver sells the team....

Not going to get specific on players and such but if i were the suns my goal in trading Bledsoe would be the following :
Get a 1st round pick that lands in the 12 to 20 range
Get a Good to solid young PG ( 25 or younger )
Get another good young player out of it OR a Semi Young Vet who is good who can mentor the young players
Use Bledsoe to get a bad contract off books if you take something alittle less
Getting any 3 of 4 would be a WIN for the Suns

Id probably do the orlando deal. Who knows maybe a change of scenery will help hezonja and Payton.
The reality is these are the types of packages the suns are going to be getting. Its not pretty but its the reality of waiting too long to move an assett.

Trash offers. McD is not stupid.
- Orlando deal is the least worst
- Denver can jump off a bridge
- Cleveland can **** off

A scenery change wont make a bad player good. Those 2 are bums.
I always enjoy when we dragged into trade fiascos, you get to see just how many people value subpar players.

That's highly debatable.

Mudiay or Payton - this is what it could come down too. Who does Ryan think matches the kind of PG they want

What about Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard and a top 10 protected first?

Sarver is the worst owner in the league. McD has done a decent job. Can you imagine working for Sarver?

We have zero need for Jackson. Kennard would be nice, but not interested in anything involved.

Nuggets: bust + overpaid mildly above average player
Magic: bust + bust + overpaid mediocre player
Cavs: mediocre vet + washed up vet, but at least the washed up vet is a hometown fav and there's a pick attached too
about what I expected
this franchise has perfected the art of trading players at their lowest possible value

Man, I'd think about it. That Jackson deal sucks, he makes $18M in '19-'20.

I'd love Beverly, but I think he fits too well in the current Clips lineup. He doesnt need to dominate the ball and lets Blake be a point forward, Bledsoe just stops the ball.

Payton's not that bad. Wish he could shoot, but he's had very good stretches. Mudiay has been awful shooting from everywhere. Payton had his worst year from 3 last year. Payton's much better at just about everything though. Mudiay's just younger so there could be upside but it seems rare people shoot THAT bad and ever improve much.

Oh I hate the **** out of sarver. But I still think McD has mismanaged several situations and deserves a share of the blame.
