Look pure stupidity lost them the game. Why in the world did Hornacek take out Wright? He was playing good defense. I held my tongue a lot when I see the awful mistakes Hornacek makes but I cant no more. Jeff Hornacek your a DUMBA55.

He took Wright out for Kief I believe which is fine with me. Marcus was hitting all his shots. When we have a lead Jeff has always went with scoring over D. We can't let them back in if we're getting baskets every time down the court. Unfortunately we had some stupid TO's and a rushed shot by Kief.

You mean for all 48 mins, Hornacek has went with scoring over D.

And that's the dumbest logic ever anyway, when you have the lead you should just focus on defending to close it out.

Yeah. The only thing that kept us in the game was a 5'9" pg going off for 24 points in the second half. It was fun while it lasted, but if you have to rely on a different player every night going off just to stay in the game, that is not sustainable. I would rather just grind a team down every night with our starters, the bench holds the lead, then the starters come back in and finish them off.

They paraded them to the line. I didn't say we didn't make matters worse for ourselves. But there was more contact against IT on Lee's block than Bledsoe on Green. And clear as day, Gasol hits MkMo on the elbow for the last shot. Now if MkMo misses both free throws, then sure it's on the players, but he should be on the line, as well as IT. If they are going to let them play, then the Green foul shouldn't have been called. Refs won the game.

Bledsoe got hammered a lot too. Suns don't get calls. The FT attempts are a joke. You can't say all the Suns shots were jump shots.

It happens almost every game, and it's sad. We just aren't good enough shooters to overcome it like Suns teams in the past. But now it's too obvious, we can't beat a team and the refs on any court, ours or away. And we definitely can't do it missing free throws, turning the ball over, and taking bad shots, while not boxing out.

I wouldn't say it was Hornaceks fault by any means. I didn't notice anything blatantly bad that he did during the game.

Umm....Did you actually not see our lineup to end the 4th? That was Pete Carroll. I have no other way to describe it. Pete **** Carroll.

We had the advantage at the Offensive end, we just had costly TO's

Such a disappointing loss. Hornacek made a bad choice down the stretch. You've got to hedge your bets.

But from what I saw in the first half and what Marcus was showing in the 2nd I was more than happy having them be defended by Zbo and Gasol. Now we had a few costly turnovers and Kief took an early jump shot that I would have liked to see him drive. But what got us back into the game was small ball and I can live with Jeff riding it till the end.

Small ball is something that gets you into games because of transition and all that but when the game slows down, it will fail you almost everytime because other teams will just post up.

And I agree but Jeff has always kept it small. When we get a lead Jeff has the mindset that they can't get back into the game if we score every time down the court. A few TO's and Kief's rushed shot are what lost us the game in the end. If we get the ball up the court with 1:20 and Kief blows by Gasol then no one would be talking about Jeff, just how clutch Kief is.

This isn't something new though. Its one thing if this is the first time we've blown a game all year long or even the 2nd or 3rd time.

We find new ways to consistently lose every single close game.

I would bet my house that if the Suns were in a close game with Kentucky, Kentucky would win.

But see, this is the issue we run into EVERY YEAR!! At the beginning of the season, its "Lets see how well we do" or "Before we even think of trading anyone, lets see what we have 1st" or "We might be able to make the playoffs, so tanking is stupid to do so early", then it becomes "We suck and our players killed whatever trade value they had before the season started" or "Its too late to trade our players as they have no value because they become FA in a few months" or "Its too late to tank, even if we tried we still wouldnt end up with a top 10 pick!".

Year after year after year after year......

If you actually watch the Suns play basketball you can't possibly think that they are a well coached team. Absolutely nothing shows it.

Points in the paint: Suns 62, Grizz 50, free throws, Suns 18, Grizz 34, Suns lose by one. Not tough to figure the reason. :x

Agreed, I'd say the worst part is that we are so far into the season and still nobody has a role. Every game its a new line up. Every other game there is a rotation that makes no logical sense. Len gets benched for no reason at times, Green is in the doghouse now after getting large minutes all year, no one knows who is going to close out the game or when or why they'll get taken out.

Almost the all star game and we are running different line ups like its still preseason.

Rebounding lost the game. You can't count on making shots, but you can count on ZBo and Gasol out rebounding the Morris twins.

Exactly!!!! People say Suns don't get calls because they shoot so many shots? Ummm.. Bledsoe and Goran live in the paint. Suns don't get calls. No reason why they lead the NBA in techs. Bledsoe gets fouled like every play. IT got hit many times today in his drives.

You know what other teams are doing this? 76ers/Lakers/Knicks/Jazz/Bucks. Now if we could only figure out what links all these teams together......hmmmmmm........

We don't have the players to lock down and close it out. All of our guys, Len included, fall asleep on Defense way to often. We're constantly allowing back cuts and guys to get into position for boards. I wouldn't trust any lineup we have to close out a 5pt game on the defensive end.

Why don't you acknowledge that Hornacek blew the game, and made stupid decisions like he always does?

Bledsoe and Thomas initiate the contact. They are not getting hacked... its usually them bouncing off somebody. But they are the ones jumping into a larger defender. I don't see it as all contact should be a foul.
What ? Me Worry ?
