Yes, I think they are playing good basketball, third best team in the entire league.

Well, hopefully they lose more games and we select in the draft in the early twenties.

Cavs first in East.

They fire their coach. Unbelievable.

Lebron going to become player coach lol.

That butt whooping Warriors gave them really rattled them.

Warriors work well because they have 3 high IQ forwards that play elite defense and have specialties. Iggy = Playmaker Elite Defender, Green = younger slower bigger current Iggy, Thompson = Elite Sharp shooter elite defender. Then they have Curry and Bogut who are amongst the highest IQ for their position and Curry being an MVP and all time great shooter.

Cavs are a mish mash of talent that is being asked to compromise their games... But a compromised Kevin Love is no good... His strength is being a reliable scorer.. When he compromises his game he doesnt have good enough defense to fall back on. Irving is being asked to be a microwave scorer rather than a co-star next to Lebron.

Trade Deadline Countdown....What will we do? What should we do?

I've wanted Jeff gone for a long time but Cavs firing Blatt actually makes the Suns look better.

Suns probably should have fired Jeff 20 games ago, but they're willing to let him coach though the struggles. I guess you gotta respect that. Jeff is well respected across the league. If he's fired, the Suns will look more of a mess, especially if the replacement is still losing games.

Jeff just has to play TJ Warren and I'll be happy.

If Hornacek has not been fired by now, I doubt he gets fired at all. I expect the Suns to let him go in the offseason and go after a fresh face. There are plenty of coaches available but three coaches I see as potential candidates are Luke Walton, Mark Jackson, and Tom Thibodeau.

Cavs get rid of Blatt before we get rid of Horny. The NBA is a crazy place.

Seriously. What the hell is going on? :noway:

It doesn't matter who they hire or fire the fact of the matter is that they will never win a championship because Lebron is not good enough to lead a team to a NBA title without 2 or 3 other superstars with him. I know Irving is a superstar but he lacks real experience in the playoffs and I don't consider Love as a superstar. I know you guys will probably say that I'm a idiot for saying that Lebron isn't good enough to lead them to a title but if you watch Lebron over the years you'll realize that he doesn't handle pressure very well especially when it really matters. The only reason he has 2 NBA championship is because the Thunder were inexperience and the Spurs basically gave away the Finals.

That again...he basically led today's 76ers to the finals in 06-07. He left Miami, they went from 4 straight finals to missing the playoffs. Don't even get me started on Jordan, Pippen etc...anyways, sorry for OT but it bugs me. Had LeBron been back in the day and Jordan in today's media world the GOAT would not be as clear cut.

James is no Jordan..but James is definitely good enough to lead a team to a ring superstars next to him or not. But he simply needs a reliable system to maximize the rest of the team. He needs to be
Part of the system.. Not the system.

Jordan had the triangle... So did Bryant. Bird and Magic had the showtime era high tempo system... Spurs has Popovic... Curry and the Warriors optimized the SSOL system etc.

Lebron won in Miami through sheer defense and sheer talents with Bosh and Wade. But now he is older... He cant play 110% anymore and will his teams to wins. He needs to be part of a system that maximises everyone else on top of him.

Chandler, Kieff, Tucker and the Cavs pick for Love and Mozgov

Cavs need complementary players to LeBron. Defense, rebounding, players that can be effective without the ball in their hands. That is Chandler and Tucker. They also need a player that will get in LeBron's face if he has to. Chandler is one of the few players in the league that will do that.

Kieff provides a backup for Thompson.

I am not sure if Love is a star player as in a "big three" type of player. But I would be willing to gamble on him.

Could also do Knight, Chandler, and Tucker and a pick for Love, Mozgov, and Mo Williams.

I think Lebron's great, but I will say the biggest fraud of the past decade has been Lebron's defense. Particularly in the playoffs. He shut down Rose one series and has lived off of that rep. In the Dallas series, he got lit up by Jason Terry.

He also has shot horribly from outside the paint this year and in recent playoff performances. I think he's good enough to be the 1st guy with just 1 other superstar, but probably not with GS and SA playing so well, and he's such a horrible GM along with his moronic agent that he has WRECKED their flexibility.

I think Love can still be a monster if used better, but I also cringe with adding such a poor defender at the 4 with a team of offensive guys at the 1-3 who don't defend. I really think we're better off with a 2 way PF. I wonder if we could offer that, and flip love to a 3rd team for a greater package of picks and/or young guys who are 2 way players.

The east was so bad back then though. I think many of the West's stars could've lead almost any team to the finals in the east if they signed with an eastern team. That said, I think Lebron's a top 5 player of all time, so I think he's fully capable of leading a team to a title. I don't think he ever gets one with Cleveland though. He's starting to slow down, and the West's teams are better set to improve going forward. He absolutely murdered them and locked them into this team with his GM decisions. They are in true cap hell.

If Bledsoe wasn't injured we could find a way to trade him there, and then LeBron could control about everything.

Hornacek is our tank commander. I'm just accepting the fact he's the worst coach possible to guide this team to the top #SimmonsCup #IngramCup #RabbCup

Why is everyone up in arms that Hornacek hasn't been fired yet? He played Booker/Warren/Archie/Len all over 30 minutes last night, Booker even played 43 minutes. I mean, he kinda had to with only 8 players suited up, but still we're losing games playing our young guns and hopefully land a top pick in the process. What more can you guys ask for?

Lebron is really pretty much running the Cavs. Gilbert has to succumb to all his wishes to make up for that letter and to keep Lebron in Cleveland... not that Lebron will leave. But Lebron will end up being part of the FO in the future.

I think Suns can convince Cavs to take Bledsoe for Irving.
Maybe Bledsoe, Morris, Cavs pick for Irving. They can run Thompson as full time center next to Morris.
They should trade Love too... maybe for a shooting guard... or to Celtics for Avery Bradley, David Lee, Evan Turner and 2 picks.

Cavs then run.
C: Thompson
PF: Morris
SF: James
SG: Bradley
PG: Bledsoe
SG/SF: Turner
PF: Lee
C: Mozgov
SG: JR Smith
PG/SG: Delavedova

Then hire Thibs... SUPER defensive team with versatile offense.

Suns then run.
C: Len
PF: *Hopefully Simmons
SF: Warren /
SG: Booker / Bogdanovic
PG: Irving / Goodwin

"In a radio interview Thursday afternoon, he made the comment that the Cavs and Phoenix Suns were actually close to having a deal in place and agreed to that would send Love to the desert in return for a package involving Markieff Morris and Isaiah Thomas."
