If the Cavs win the next game, I think I would take more joy in the fact that the Cavs made the NBA darlings implode and be unlike themselves.
To blow a 73-9 season AND be the first team to ever blow a 3-1 series lead AND to be the first time they lose 3 straight under Kerr.

Curry should (but won't) be suspended. If Haslem got a game for throwing the mouthpiece at a ref, Curry should for throwing it towards the fans. If you want to argue that wasn't his intent, watch the replay. He looked over before throwing it. Either he meant to throw it at a player or the stands. Or he has a horrible arm and missed the floor completely.

It's too bad the guy who was hit didn't oversell it and ask to be taken away by the meds. Maybe that would force the NBA's hand.

Oh well, at least the series is fun :)

I think game 7 should just be a 1-on-1 game between Ty Lue and Steve Kerr. Or a 3-point contest. Or a game of half-court bump-out. Or all three of those, and 2/3 wins it all.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

On another note, can the NBA do something about players chewing on their mouthpieces? I don't wanna see your saliva dripping mouth guard. F'n disgusting.

Curry should be suspended. And yes, the mouthpiece thing is just disgusting. It's so annoying to watch every time he shoots a free throw.

Right, let's NBA champion be determined by mouthguard
Give Curry a fine, suspend him for start of next season, even put him in jail but let him play in freaking Game 7 of the Finals!

I don't really care about either teams, but it's a bit disgusting to see how much the league wanted this to be a series.
If every game was called like the last two, the Warriors would not be 73-9... If all the games were called like the regular season (and the playoffs so far), then Cleveland wouldn't have won more than 1 game...

(and let's not even get into the suspensions, and the fouls/no-fouls on the so called "good defenders" who are allowed to push, hit, kick, bite, in pretty much every posession without a whistle becouse they are the "good defenders", otherwise they would foul out in 10 minutes... this has been going on eversince I watch the NBA... rodmans, bowensess, greens of the league unite! you are special! and very "good" defenders    :noway: :noway: :noway: )

I wouldn't have even cared. Last year's was decided by injury. It's part of the game if a player can't control himself. That said, given he has a clean history, it didn't surprise me he just got a slap on the wrist

So if GS wins tonight, do you think LeBron should get MVP regardless? He has clearly been the best player in the series and most valuable to his team thus far, and I suppose some may want to argue if they lose to GS, how valuable can the player on the team that loses possibly be? Though I don't buy that line of thinking.

LeBron James has the highest Player Efficiency Rating of any player in a single Finals since Shaquille O'Neal in 2002.

Through six games, James has a PER of 35.1 while averaging 30.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 2.7 steals and 2.2 blocks on better than 51 percent shooting.

2016: LeBron James, 35.1

2015: LeBron James, 27.5 (Andre Iguodala, 19.2)

2014: LeBron James, 32.6 (Kawhi Leonard, 25.2)

2013: LeBron James, 29.2

2012: Mike Miller, 33.7 (LeBron James, 29.7)

2011: Dwyane Wade, 32.6 (Dirk Nowitzki, 21.8)

2010: Pau Gasol, 25.3 (Kobe Bryant, 24.5)

2009: Kobe Bryant, 28.7

2008: Ray Allen, 20.6 (Paul Pierce, 19.2)

2007: Tony Parker, 25.4

2006: Dwyane Wade, 30.5

2005: Chauncey Billups, 24.4 (Tim Duncan, 22.4)

2004: Chauncey Billups, 29.3

2003: Tim Duncan, 30.4

2002: Shaquille O’Neal, 38.5

2001: Shaquille O’Neal, 33.8

2000: Shaquille O’Neal, 36.6

1999: Tim Duncan, 28.0

1998: Michael Jordan, 28.7

1997: Michael Jordan, 29.3

1996: Shawn Kemp, 27.5 (Michael Jordan, 23.8)

1995: Hakeem Olajuwon, 25.7

1994: Hakeem Olajuwon, 25.6

1993: Michael Jordan, 31.7

1992: Michael Jordan, 27.1

1991: Michael Jordan, 34.1
