I doubt the Cavs want Jackson, a rookie forward who can't shoot, anyway. They'd want win-now players and picks they can later trade for win-now players.

Bledsoe + a vet of their choice + picks makes a lot of sense for them.

I don't want Irving. Lets try to get Porzingas instead. Irving should be better than Porzingas for Knicks fans anyways.

I would add Nitilkina going to the Suns but he can't be traded until August 4.

everybody but Devin Booker before Josh Jackson, Jackson is the ideal wing man (pun intended) for Booker as he can play defense, run the floor, rebound. With Bookers lack of defense, Jacksons defense is needed. Big time. And if you add Kyrie, its REALLY needed

Thats just a straight up PHX/CLE trade.

We know they want Melo. We also have a rough idea of what NY wants, and also know somewhat what they dont want (with the rumored HOU trade).

I still think if they could get Knight/Thompson/Chriss and a 1st for Melo, while also dumping O'Quinn, that would be good enough and trump other offers that they have had on the table.

I'll be pissed if Jackson is included. He doesnt need to be.

In my trade, Cleveland is still able to keep Love, get a more experienced C in Chandler, and also nets them Lebrons buddy and Irving replacement, along with Melo and dumping Frye.

I just dont see how mine isnt a win-win-win for everybody.

LeBron or not, Cavs SHOULD want future assets for Kyrie. They don't even have a GM so who knows.

Jackson has a lot of value.
He can go to a third team and the Cavs can receive Melo or another big time player.

no deal for me if they want bledsoe and jackson. our defense would be awful with a lineup of Irving, Booker, Warren, Chriss, Chandler/Len/Bender

I liked your trade a lot. It gets the Knicks a PF in Thompson, a young player in Knight
Cavs get Bledsoe, Chandler and Melo - they easily win the EAst as they keep Love

Suns get Irving and I forget the rest - OQuinn right
I do like it

It will take Bledsoe - but if the Suns can keep Jackson, Booker, Bender or Chriss - they would be better with Kyrie.

We aren't giving them Jackson.
I would give them Bledsoe/Warren and a Miami pick, and if we were overpaying give them both Miami picks. Those are our best assets that could potentially bust so I'm okay with trading the mystery box of picks for Irving.

This worked in trade machine -
Suns get-
Kyrie Irving
Channing Frye

Cavs get-
Eric Bledsoe
Melo
Brandon Knight

Knicks get-
Iman Shumpert
JR Smith
TJ Warren
2018 Miami pick

This would leave our core set at every position as:
Irving/Booker/Jackson/Bender/Chriss

Where the hell is Lebron going to go? I know it's been talked about before but he built the Cavs team, and he is basically their GM.

Another thing, if Kyrie wants his own team and Lebron leaves in 2018, then why not just stay with the Cavs?

I'm with you, our perimeter defense would be even worse and we already have one ball domimant guard on the roster. If we get him to flip him for other assets in the future than why not. But only for the right price, which to me would be something Cle would not accept ;)

Really interesting crossroads here for the Cavs. They can either try to pick up win-now players or start their rebuild, which means trading Lebron as well.

The frenzy around a Lebron trade is something I really want to see, I wonder if that would be enough for Ainge to cash in all his chips...
