Those Denver fans got what they deserved. That Suns fan is trying to take this as far as he can though, I heard him on PMT and he thinks he should be on the court shooting around with the players in game 1 and maybe a job with the team for this.

I like what he said, and I wouldn't be surprised if Monty talked a bit about it in the locker room...how it's not classy to encourage that type of thing. That guy shouldn't be getting tickets for winning a fight in the stands, whether he got hit first or not. Not a good example to set for fans in the stands. I won't be surprised if you see it on the road in another game...intentionally filmed, etc.

He handled the situation fine imo. Didn't take it too far and wasn't the one who started it.

I didn't say he didn't handle the situation fine, just that I don't think it's that good of an example to reward him with tickets and stuff because he won a fight.

Yeah a bit disappointed at Book for this as he should have showed a bit more maturity.

He is still 24 so he's still a young dude so he gets a pass for some of his on court antics but hopefully in his prime he starts showing a bit more maturity.

I'd rather play Tuesday but I'd also much rather play the Clips unless Conley would play like that in every game. Missing Paul will hurt a ton regardless but against Utah especially as they get healthy and the way Mitchell has played in the playoffs, it would be tough. His teammates just didn't bring it (though they shot 50% from 3..most of it was him though).

I just hope CP3 is back by Thursday and Saturday at the latest and we have to at worst split at home.

The exact reason why I wanted the Jazz more than the Clips - too bad they choked one series earlier than they should have.

Not sure what to make of our series with the Clips, no CP for AT LEAST one game is no bueno.

Better be ready to fly around at shooters and to rebound when Ayton is out on the perimeter. Hopefully all the sh** talking to PG this year doesnt come back to bite us in the ass.

We've got some wingspans with Ayton and Mikal "stretch armstrong" bridges who can contest them well. Payne really hounds guys on defense and is great at sticking right on them. Crowder, Craig and Cam are solid perimeter defenders too. Book usually cheats too much but I don't think there will be a need to if they are playing 5 out so he can just stick closer to his guy and make sure he rotates when needed.

We also don't contain the perimeter well is isos so there's a good chance we're playing on our back foot on defense quite often. And these guys can actually shoot unlike the Lakers/Nuggets. Gonna have to nut up for this one.

We got a team missing their best player. We're gonna miss CP3 for a few games but this is better than having to play the Jazz with a healthy Conley. Best case scenario was a Clips game 7 win.

How it looks now my idea from a few months ago of signing Batum this summer with the mid-level exception?

He will not be available for that money anymore, so it will be better for us to just retain all our wings.

Bridges/Crowder/Cam J/Craig is a nice combination at SF/PF and we can bring all of them back for next season.

Torrey Craig for the BAE exception can be a fair contract for both sides.
$3.8M in 2021/22 and $4M in 2022/23.

Even though it wasn't home court - I did want the Jazz to win. But was truly just hoping for 7 games. So the Suns might have to play G1 without Paul. Clippers - hard to think Kawhi plays G1 - so basically even.

TV again ruling the schedule as the Clippers get just about 38 hours or so to get ready for the Suns. But not the first team to have this; won't be the last. I guess I know my Sunday plans now!

Isn't Lowry leaning towards Miami though? I think that the Jazz will likely try and run it back with Conley ( resigned) but hoping for better health outcome. I also think that they do make slight roster adjustments, But hold onto Gobert. And look at adding more defense and shooting on the perimeter, since Clarkson was really their only consistent scorer on the perimeter. And their perimeter defense was also somewhat porous as well.
