You don't draft for need when you are one of the worst teams in the league. McD thought Len was BPA and he drafted him at #5. We still can (and most likely will) draft a SG at #30.

Wouldn't the rational thought be that he would be worth less with only half a season left on his contract? I'm not trying to be an Ahole. I honestly don't understand the thinking here. I feel like as time goes on his value decreases exponentially.

There have always been very delusional posters on this board that severely overrated Gortats trade value. I do think he ends up getting dealt in the next month. Of course the Suns are going to say Gortat will 'mentor" Len then don't want to seem desperate to move him. His value is probably a first rounder in 14 from a playoff team.
