Well the top side of the GM's in the draft (with picks 1-6) are WAY more reactive than those on the other side of the draft (with picks 7-14).

Last time I had to wait 3 days between picks before being "on the clock" again, while going on this side I was able to make 2 picks in under 12 hours...

With that being said, first time of the draft that I'm not going w/ BPA here since I need a SF, and I take that sniper who destroyed from long range in the playoffs : Danny Green.

Also, it's been October 1st for the past 3 hours EST (USA), so now we're all officially drafting. Unless we're going by GMT of course, in which case we've all really been on the clock for the past 8 hours

Damn. After I made my Butler pick it became clear Spencer wouldn't be available at my pick. Sure enough...he was also on Kerrsed's radar. But another guy picked him up, despite his C position being filled already. Very disappointing since I really loved how I handled the first 6 picks.

I still can't like this guy after going to that Duke v Maryland game on the DP09 trip. Not tat I liked him before that, but it sure was good to flog the living daylights out of them and be there to witness it.

I think there is a reason why EVERYBODY was passing on him. Maybe its because word is that he wont be able to play until December (and who knows if he is even 100% by then). Or maybe its that he has a complete and utter s**t team around him, so no more 12 assist games. Maybe it also because he is a bad shooter/scorer and now that he doesnt have Pierce/Garnett to take away that defensive pressure, he's going to score even less (and have a worse FG% on top of that). Hell, maybe the reason is all 3 of the above(Thats my reason!).

Good luck on the damaged goods. IMHO he was drafted about 2-3 rounds earlier than he should have been.

Ha, someone will want him when he's putting up decent numbers. There's no way he sits out a full season which is what I was worried about. He actually ended up on my team cos I ALWAYS struggle with GP early on - so it's basically forcing me to play less games early, which I'm fine with. If he gives me 40-50 games at 13-4-9-2 I'll be happy...

That's EXACTLY what I think of whenever he comes up in fantasy drafts or NBA talk - cracks me up.

I've got those chants on video somewhere, should upload them.

"Hiii Grievis!"

Creepy.

Yeah, that and also when we (Duke) were flogging the living daylights out of them we were all chanting "We want Vasquez, we want Vasquez" so we could all boo him and make him feel the pain.
