This is the worst kind of season, filled with what-ifs from close losses.
Detroit
LAC
Bucks

These five games we should have won but somehow found ways to give them away. Even if we manage to go 3-2 we are competing for a 6 or 7 seed at this point.

I would love Jerry Sloan to slap the yellow off Hornacek's teeth real quick for his awful mistakes. How many games like this are they gonna give away?

Look pure stupidity lost them the game. Why in the world did Hornacek take out Wright? He was playing good defense. I held my tongue a lot when I see the awful mistakes Hornacek makes but I cant no more. Jeff Hornacek your a DUMBA55.
He took Wright out for Kief I believe which is fine with me. Marcus was hitting all his shots. When we have a lead Jeff has always went with scoring over D.We can't let them back in if we're getting baskets every time down the court. Unfortunately we had some stupid TO's and a rushed shot by Kief.
And that probably sums up all the close losses...
We've held off runs as well. We've won 28 games with his philosophy. Players are learning and its getting better.

Still in dire need of length and versatility from our bigs, Wright was a great acquistion but its just not enough. Tuck might be able to guard 3 positions adequately and Bled might be a ballhawking steal machine pn some nights but they can't do it alone. A lock down perimeter/on the ball defensive specialist could really come in handy too

This team isn't gunna make that leap forward without a traditional power forward who can hold his own in the paint on both sides

Exactly!!!! People say Suns don't get calls because they shoot so many shots? Ummm.. Bledsoe and Goran live in the paint. Suns don't get calls. No reason why they lead the NBA in techs. Bledsoe gets fouled like every play. IT got hit many times today in his drives.

Why don't you acknowledge that Hornacek blew the game, and made stupid decisions like he always does?
He made some bad moves, just like Bledsoe made some bad turnovers, but even with those they almost double our free throw attempts, and were allowed to bump and grab us all game with no calls. Zbo did the same grab that Marcus got called for at the end, all f*cking game!!!
We didn't lose that game, the refs won it. That Green foul called after IT drew so much more contact was disgusting and ridiculous. And that last shot, where MKMo is clearly hit on the elbow while shooting is beyond stupid, and obvious. This league needs better refs.
What they will do is say that MkMo was fouled, but it won't change the game outcome. Poor officiating all game, and our guys take it up the butt. I am pissed at Jeff for not saying something about the abuse our guys take, and the free throw differential, especially when we score more in the paint than the other team, and draw contact on almost every drive.

Props to Bledsoe for owning it, if only his HC had anywhere near the balls to take responsbility.
Both Bledsoe and Dragic made plenty of mistakes but their the only reason (along with IT exploding in the second half) that we had the lead in the first place.
Bledsoe and Goran should both demand Sarver for a new HC.

I don't get it, if the Kings fired Mike Malone so quick, why can't we do the same thing with Hornacek?

I do think Jeff made a mistake in the end by not putting defense in when we were up 7.. Definitely a big one but if Suns manage to hold on and win you guys wouldn't say anything about Jeff. Biggest mistake was Bledsoe throwing TO's. Jeff Green's offensive rebound was also a killer but it was off a 3pt attempt and bigs were nowhere near the ball. I don't think Len being in would have made a difference. In the end, players lose games.. Bledsoe played dumb and that's what lost us the game.
Rarely do I say anything negative about Bledsoe because he's our best player and I think he gets too much hate on this board but he lost us the game. Also, you Dragic fan boys disappear every time he plays like ass. He also was very bad the entire game.
I really want Goran here but not 14 mil!!! Bad decision. He's not what we make him to be.

Sign me up on this.
But if Hornacek took a month to realize that Len is way better than Plumlee... you can bet that in 2019 this young guys will get some chance to play.

Are you joking? Len being in would have got us that rebound or Len bein in would have meant Z-bo wouldn't be shooting FTs because Marcus is tiny for him.
Saying Len being in wouldn't have a made a difference is like saying Duncan being in wouldn't have made a difference in game 6 of the 2013 finals when Bosh got the offensive rebound at the end.
The difference is that Pop learned from it while Hornacek makes the same mistake OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.
2-8 in close games is proof enough.

Frank Lee wrote:Bledsoe and Thomas initiate the contact. They are not getting hacked... its usually them bouncing off somebody. But they are the ones jumping into a larger defender. I don't see it as all contact should be a foul.
That would be fine if it went both ways. But it doesn't. Many guards initiate the contact but get the calls. We routinely get knocked around and get d*ck for calls on our home court. It's like watching Eaton grab and throw KJ to the ground like the wrestling scene in the background of the movie Sixteen Candles, and nothing.
Green got the call and it appears there was no touch, but IT and MkMo? Nope! It's time to open the eyes people, we are not good enough shooters to beat eight guys on any court.
