Brandon Knight & Eric Bledsoe are becoming one of the best back courts in the league. It's fun to watch them dominate so far in this young season. Whenever both combine for 45+ points I have a good feeling Suns will win.

I fell asleep for the second half (living on east coast). How did we look overall? I know they were missing everyone of importance but I still want this team to improve.

"Whenever we watch him shoot and he gets a kickout like that, we think it's automatic," Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. "So the more of those he can get, the better. I thought he did a great job of coming off those screens and not just pulling up right away but taking one extra dribble and getting in that 16-, 18-foot range. If he gets there, he's automatic on those shots too."
This is really important to improve Knight's shot selection.

Our offense ran so much smoother Inserting Leur in with the starters after kieff went down. It was against the backups basically so not sure how much you can really take away from that, but I would love to see that lineup a little more often and see if our offense continues to flow or if it was just a one night then against the clips backups. Either way good win to get us back to .500!

Assuming his two tweets are Suns related, Archie should ask for a trade at this point. Three years into the league and still stuck on the bench. He is not going to get a chance in Phoenix. Seriously how many players have said they do not trust this front office. It is really getting up there. Seems like every player that leaves the Suns says they were promised something that never happened.
What did the tweets say? They were deleted pretty quick.

Didn't they have 40+ at the half?

Overall, we still had issues scoring a few times. We were living from the three often, and still left guys open on the perimeter. I was shocked that we brought it Weems instead of Booker near the end of the game.
We rushed a few shots, and often didn't set up a play, and took a few ill advised long twos, but many of them went in. Warren played well. Leuer was having a tough time shooting, but overall his hustle was refreshing to see, and he boards very well. Tele couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, but he did help get the first tech on Blake, so overall he was a plus in my book, and he did end up hitting two threes. Price looked bad even before he ran into Smith's moving screen, and Weems is just not playing well, and ended up smashing heads with Booker, limiting those precious minutes due to stitches.
Archie looked alright, but he never established himself when he was in the game. Morris looked good until he went down, and seemed up for the challenge of switching to Jordan. Speaking of Jordan, we actually took advantage of his poor free throw shooting.
If Morris can't play the next game, I'd like to see Leuer and Tucker take the minutes at PF, and see Warren and either Booker or Archie get some minutes at the three.
I know many hate Tucker, but it was fun watching him guard some guys, because he is very physical. I think he ended with three steals.
Overall, it was a rough game, and we should have had a double digit lead by the end of the first.

Didn't they have 40+ at the half? The tough thing is we don't know if the pair played better because they were ready for the game, or because they started against a second unit.
They had a similar performance against Portland's guards too.

Bledsoe is so good. He really took his game to another level.

Warren is playing 20-25 minutes with the reserves, and in that situation he is the primary or secondary scoring threat on the floor. That is probably a better way to prepare him for stardom than playing him with the starters and having to defer in scoring to Bledsoe, Knight, and Morris.

I figure we could start him if we dealt Keef for more of a defensive, athletic type. Say, Thad Young (see Trade thread).

I am not sure this team would suffer much with Leuer and Warren as starters. Leuer defends, rebounds and keeps the ball moving. Warren could fill the scoring. Still, while Keef is here, it doesn't make sense to start Warren.

There were two of them. The first one said something like "Some things I will never understand." The second said something like "Tell me one thing, do something else. That is not real."

I am tired of marginal players acting like they deserve something. You have to earn your opportunities in the NBA.

As some fans said, the Suns offense was much smoother with Leuer in the game opposed to Markieff. Outside of Markieff's worthless effort this year, he is a very slow player anyway. Everything he does is like he is playing in sand. If this team wants to play fast and have good spacing, Markieff is not the answer. The Suns need to acquire a true stretch four that can rebound or just start Leuer.

No matter who they were playing against, Bled and Knight looked great lastnight.

Somehow the Suns are an above average 3-point shooting team this seasons so far. We are 7th in the league in 3P% and 5th in 3PM/G. Nice.

After deleting those tweets, Archie did clarify that they weren't related to basketball.

Archie's a young dude, I could see those tweets being on and off court related. If it did pertain to basketball, I get it. This is his 3rd year, he sees guys like Len and TJ getting consistent minutes and wants to get on the court. Truth is, and I'm someone who really likes Archie, his spot on the team looks like it's disappearing. We need shooting, and he's not been a confident shooter when he gets in. He's at his bet driving to the hoop, but TJ is better at that and finding open areas on the floor to get to instead of getting to the basket off the dribble. The only way he'll get his minutes is if he proves he's confident in his jumper or we get rid of PJ, start TJ and have him and Booker come off the bench and hopefully give us better floor spacing, but that might be unlikely to happen so he might not ever get his shot. I can see how that's frustrating.
SHAZAM!
