Bulls have problems with Mirotic and Portis together. Either one of them would be good coming back in a trade for Bledsoe (or at least better than ehat we heard so far).

Might have to include one of our bigs going to a 3rd team for a PG.

Just an idea, haven't heard anything about it

Gambo says that Rich Paul is there because he also represents Trey Lyles (plays for the Nuggets).

Gambo got pretty defensive at this McBride guy's report...

That's pretty quick to get defensive....also Trey Lyles could be part of the trade if there is one, but they likely wouldn't want to deal with Rich Paul. Seems like all they have is PFs. And we drafted 2 last year.

What about it?

We have zero need for Jackson. Kennard would be nice, but not interested in anything involved.

We don't have a need for a PG??? Huh???

I hope you don't think someone is going to trade us their young, up-and-coming, rising-star, young PG, because no GM is going to do that for Bledsoe...unless we trade something else worthwhile back in return. Jackson is a the mid-tier level PG we should likely expect to get back in a trade, IMO.

Well if they traded for Bledsoe I'm sure we'd want Dunn or Jerian Grant.

Man, if we could have gotten KP for Bledsoe/Chriss/Bender/Miami pick...it's a damn shame we didn't quickly capitalize on that this summer.

We need a PG coming back. I'd much rather Payton than Smart. We kind of have a SF logjam as it is.

The Celtics would give you some other assets and I think Smart would play the "fake point guard". Sharing ball handling responsibilities with Booker

They don't have enough other salary to send back unless a third team is involved. But more importantly, why would they want Bledsoe when they have Kyrie and Rozier?

I just love how defensive Gambo is in general. He has to announce it 5 times before proceeding with the update that he was the one that got the breaking news. "I talked to NBA executives", "you know I've been on the phone for hours talking to high level NBA folks", "they told me, look you're not going to hear this anywhere else, they told me". Ego much Gambo?

Another sad thing is there are a ton of players that teams were looking at trying to get rid of that we could have totally traded Bledsoe for, but they are now performing great, Like Drummond and Vuc in Orlando. I could probably name like 5 others if i really thought about it. Names that other teams poster were throwing around on the trade board but have become totally off limits over the past week.

Elfrid Payton? I don't know if I could watch him.

What about it? I was asking if people would like a package like that. Sorry I wasn't more clear with what I meant. We would also be sending Bledsoe out in such a deal for clarification so in this case, unless you're ready to roll with James or Ulis as starter we could use a PG. Also, when trading you have to match salaries.

That's insanity. Bledsoe averaged 21, 6, and 5 last year coming off his best year ever. He is 27. Brogdon averaged 10 and 4. In 2 years Brogdon will not likely be better than Bledsoe. Brogdon is 24. He is only 3 years younger than Bled, so to think he would develop at such a faster rate to catch him is ludicrous.

I like Brogdon. I would require him in any Bled deal with Milwaukee, but it would have to take significantly more than just him to do that deal and for good reason.

I'd take Brogdan at 16/4 and at 25yo over a disgruntled Bledsoe's 21/6/5 at 28yo and wanting out, any day of the week. Brogdan might be one of the most underwhelming ROY's in recent history but he's still young, healthy and still has potential. Bledsoe has basically hit his peak and is always going to be an injury risk. I wanted to offload Bledsoe last offseason if not for his value peaking then for removing that injury risk factor from this team.

Fact is this, we shouldn't expect great value from Bledsoe now that we've essentially imploded as an NBA team organisationally and from a reputation standpoint. With him wanting out, opposing teams taste blood in the water and they aren't going to play nice.

So you're assuming that both Bledsoe won't get any better and that Brogdan will not get injured? Bledsoe may be disgruntled on this team, but he wouldn't be on the team he is going to, so why is that the deciding factor here? Also, Bledsoe has been fairly healthy the last few years. He sat out last year to tank.

I think a 28year old Bledsoe who relies heavily on his athleticism probably has hit his peak. He may become a little more efficient depending on who he plays with but I don't think he will get much if any better with us. Brogdan could get injured, any player could but of the two, Bledsoe has a higher chance of injury consider his history. Also the fact that Brogdan is more of a shooter, his game should age well as opposed to Bledsoe's whose game could go down the crapper when he loses that athleticism. Bledsoe isn't a great shooter, he isn't a great leader on the floor and he isn't a gifted passer either. Most of his game comes from his ability to penetrate.

Teams aren't looking to do us any favors, especially when they see we are in disarray.

I'd take Elfrid Payton on the condition that he cuts that mop. Problem is that matching salaries with Orlando will be hard because we can't take Biyombo with Chandler still here and I don't think we have any place for Ross. So if we worked something out with Orlando it would probably need a third team with Payton and a pick coming back to us. I'd take it at this point.

At least one writer is saying it. We definitely need a full change at the top down through the entire front office.

I saw a Yahoo article about Nash being the answer. But I think he's staying far away until Sarver is gone, he's too smart to jump in this dumpster fire.

Jackson needs this. He should have been suspended but atleast it's some sort of punishment to take him out of the starting 5.
