And that's my point. I think adding another ball handler in addition to Booker, Doncic and Jackson wouldn't be making good use of his talent. Doncic and Booker would be the primary ball handlers which means Jackson and Lonzo would be fighting for scraps. If we didn't have Jackson, I'd be more comfortable moving assets for Lonzo.

I would do it because of how much more valuable Jackson would be with a Lonzo and a Doncic. Two guys looking primarily to get others easy shots.

Not saying it's a bad idea to have more playmakers, I just don't think we're maximising Lonzo's value with Booker and Doncic making plays already.

I have a feeling we get them, and this will go down as the worst draft pick in suns history.

Dude is not going to be able to do anything against these NBA defenders . I am confident he will not be good in the NBA.

Mark it down.

Get Ayton. Can't teach athleticism and size. Ayton is a freak.

Don’t worry about it, Ryan McDonough is not drafting Luka Doncic. All this talk is pointless. The only reason it’s being brought up is because Igor. He’s not coming to Phoenix, thankfully.

Not just related to the Suns but will the Heat look to unload Dragic to get under the cap?

They might have to. He's the only big contract guy with some real value. Looking at their contracts, Miami really has some horrible ones. James Johnson 3yrs $45m left, Tyler Johnson 2yrs almost $40m left, Whiteside 2yrs $52m left and you could probably put Waiters on there with 3yrs $36m left and an ugly injury history.

Plus Olynyk and Richardson. I was looking at their salary page and thinking Riley might’ve lost his touch. What a mess.

Considering how bad the FA classes are after next year I think they could steal Dragic and not lose out on anyone good next summer. He gives us one year of a quality starter and signs a friendly extension to ride out the twilight under Kokoskov. Probably a relationship the Suns don’t want to rehash though.

You're right about Richardson, didn't even see the extension he got.

I think Olynyk has pretty good value though which is why I didn't list him. He passes very well for a big (4.2apg per36), he rebounds fine (8.7rpg per 36) and most importantly he shoots .379 from the 3 on almost 4 attempts a game. His contract is very reasonable.

I'd love to Give Dragic a look at around the trade deadline. Means we only have a season and a half left of his contract to pay. Some say the issues our front office and Dragic has is water under the bridge but I'm not so sure.

I love Olynyk and would take him over Chriss/Bender.

Could be a good fit next to Ayton since Ayton wants to play PF and KO has experience at the 5.

Two completely different players.

Ayton knows how to play.
Chriss does not have any idea about what he is doing out there.

Chriss was drafted about potential. Just potential and hope.
I did not like the pick since the beggining, he is a headcase and lacks fundamentals.

I would trade him if he has any value around the league, we have too many youngsters on the roster.

I do wonder if the Suns could move for Olynyk and Dragic. I would really like Richardson but that's probably not happening. NOt touching Whiteside Waiters or Johnson to be honest.

The Suns could do something like Daniels, Chriss, Dudley and Chandler for Kelly and Dragic - it would push the cap up - but they would probably be better . Can daft either on or Doncic.

They did.

Difference is Ayton is already skilled and doesn’t seem like a whining baby.

Chris looks so spoiled. Can’t stand his funky attitude.

Love to give B Knight a try as a 4th/ 5th option. He is a good shooter.

Not true at all. One of his knocks on the court was having a temper and bad body language at Washington.

I''d watch Chicago. They have Dunn, LaVine, Portis, and Lauri as a young core.

They need a center and a small forward/shooting guard.

It's highly likely that Bamba/Ayton are gone by the time they pick. Porter will either be gone or red flagged for medical and dropping like a stone. People say this draft is 5-7 top heavy and Chicago will be at the end of that stick.

Why would they take Trae or Sexton or Doncic if they are going to resign LaVine and keep moving forward with Dunn?

They could have interest in Chriss (him and Lauri can space the front court), TJ, and future picks.

Their willingness to trade the pick will probably depend on how they like Carter or Bridges. I'd be shocked if they take Sexton/Trae.

I could see them taking Carter. Or maybe Miles Bridges...or even Mikal.

They are definitely going C. Word is they already made a promise to Chandler Hutchison with their #22 pick, so thats their SF. In my mock i had them taking Porter as BPA, but they might just take Wendell Carter Jr. instead.

I don't think we're talking enough about getting Dragic back. He had a big hand in Kokoskov's FIBA EuroBasket championship.

Suns receive: Goran Dragic
Heat receive: Brandon Knight + #16

I wouldn't do it if the Heat wanted their 2021 first as well, but I'd throw in a second this year or next.

No way they (Heat) do that deal, even with a 2nd. Knight has just as many years as Dragic left on his contract...1 more year if Dragic doesn't pick up his player option (though I'm sure he probably will).

Now if they really just wanted to shed salary and maybe get a couple lotto picks before 19, they might do it for someone like Big Sauce, who they could just waive, so they'd get cap relief, as long as they got a couple picks (16 and 31 at minimum I'm sure) but I still would be a little surprised if they trade him.
