so this is assuming you guys want Deng at probably 4yrs/15million and are going to max out Bledsoe
You'll be able to waive MWP and Felton is no longer a good starter, but is an excellent vet backup pt guard and off guard.
Chicago would do this and so would the Knicks, but would you.

Bledsoe/Felton
Green
Deng
Morris/Morris
Plumlee

Go away please :(

Suns are rolling. We should ride this season with the players we have. Develop. Draft. Then maybe make significant moves.

NY KNICKS 2014-2015 NBA CHAMPIONS
Marc Gasol/Melo/Thad Young/THJ/Dragic

 :falloff:

Maybe we should listen to this guy. He obviously knows things no one else in the world does.

Adding Felton`s 4.5 mil pre year for two more seasons is just insult to injury.

Felton led us to 54 wins last year. If you guys are serious about winning you need a good backup, and 4.5mil is not insulting for a vet like Felton, he's not a starter anymore, but he can still be one of the better backups.

You guys can't really expect the bulls to let Deng walk? It may happen, but is highly unlikely. How do you guys expect to get a quality starter to win now if you don't trade someone?
You may not like this trade but your FO seems to want to win now and upgrade talent, so you have to give something to get something.
I agree you should keep both---but nobody would be talking trade if it weren't for your FO talking about upgrading by getting a star.

Horrible argument. Why would take deng with dragig leaving? Deng is FA and more expensive, our dinamic backcourt is great man. Felton is horrible, and you know that. Please no one needs to read this type of proposal

Don't they always say that if you hear about a trade then it wont happen. Young trade talks with us are prolly over.

This leaves us with a couple of problems.

What makes this team go is the dual PG's of Dragic and Bledsoe. Taking one away seriously negates the advantages we've had on other teams.

PJ Tucker, while not as good as Deng, is a cheaper, younger, less injury prone option. He's developing his shot and is a defensive force for us. A perfect glue guy for our starters. Deng will demand 3 times as much and it will cash strap this team.

I don't think Felton would hurt us as a backup, but it's hard to believe he'll be able to keep the train rolling when the backups come in.

Lastly, the Suns have no reason to be the ones to give up a first rounder. NY isn't giving up enough for Dragic in your proposal.

Some would say Dragic is better then any player we are getting back.
Plus we have to dish out a draft pick for what reason?

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Dragic is pretty much untouchable right now given his level of play, alone and in backcourt with Bledsoe.

Deng, while being premium role player, has great mileage on him and worrisome injury history so I`d pass on him at 15+ mil deal.

I can see us eventually deal one of Dragic/Bledsoe (w/ picks) but only for superstar. If that opportunity doesn`t appear in the future we are more than happy with our current backcourt and adding through draft or via trade by dealing some of the picks (like mentioned Thad Young deal).

I still don't understand Luol Deng trade scenarios. What's the rush to get him in-season? Why not save those assets you would give up in a trade and just pursue him in the offseason?

Not trying to troll, I thougt Deng was one of these "stars" your FO and fans really wanted.
which superstar are you guys interested in besides Love that is somewhat within reach?

For anyone who doesn't get why anyone would be interested in Thaddeus Young or who doesn't know anything about him, this is a good read:

Young's the guy I want here - in season.

Love isn't coming here unless we include one of Bled or Dragic most likely, plus they may want Plumlee too, so pass.

Young would be an upgrade to Tucker, he's far more athletic and Tucker would strengthen the bench even more playing 18-20 relentless minutes.

Okafor, 2x picks might get it done...

Right now, as others said, only Love but I cannot see him being available this season.

Players we are interested in are Thad Young and Gordon Hayward and we can trade a couple of picks (or Morris twins) for one of them.

Ummmm...I do not know if Young can play like an starting SF. He is not a real threat like a shooter, and his best weapon is his quickness/agility against other PF in the league.

BUT, if he can play SF, our 9 men rotation would be fantastic...

Thad is a PF, he hasn't played at SF in years.

I don't see the need for him at all. Frye and Morris twins have similar skill sets and we may need these assets (picks and cap space) when a "true star" becomes available on the trade market.

Don't take it personally. It's easy to get carried away with trade ideas :)

Now this is something I'd be interested in. I know the Suns were very high on him.

I don't get the love for Deng at all, why would we want to acquire a 3rd option on a team full of second and 3rd options?

I know people aren't gonna like it but if they have a fire sale in Brooklyn, I think we should get Paul Pierce. I love Tucker but he could be just as good coming off the bench. Pierce has proved to make the big shots and his veteran leadership could push us into the playoffs. The plus is, he is also expiring after this year so it would be $15mil off the books. With that being said I only offer Okafor and a first (maybe another first) but absolutely none of our current players.
I like Draft Picks/Cap Space, long walks on the beach, and short youtube clips.
