This place has gone to hell. Ironically, I feel like I'm in hell during the Phoenix summers.

We're like a pack of wild dogs whenever a visitor comes to our board.
It's fascinating to watch. I feel like Im watching a David Attenborough documentary.

1.) -- You haven't called a post a lie, thus apparently, by default, calling a poster here a habitual liar.
2.) -- Nets fans have enough problems to deal with, like ponder how the heck the Nets are ever going to get out from under so many bad contracts, so we try not to 'lump on' anyone with too many problems to deal with to begin with.
3.) -- You haven't provided any semblance of praise toward Bledsoe, our GM, or Tucker. If you exhibit any form of positive thoughts or feelings about the Suns in any way, the attacks will come. Because, well, this is a Suns forum, so any positive vibes regarding our team is frowned upon.
And 4.) -- You are not a fan from a team that matters.

1.) Lies!
2.) Nets fans are cautiously indifferent right now. Deron was the bad contract. Johnson is a big contract, but he's a player who has proved himself in our uniform. He's a vet who's hit a bunch of game winners for us- he's earned the cash we're giving him. While Brook's been injured, Joe has been the one player to consistently step up. I'm a little concerned he might leave the team in the offseason if some other team started to show interest.
As far as other contracts, we're pretty content. Brook got what he deserved & Thad didn't get too much. Jarrett Jack is not a starting PG in the NBA, but at least he's better than Deron.
3.) I like Bledsoe. I'm sure he'd be controversial on any team with two players deserving to start.
4.) Well I guess that makes two of us

Sometimes, I wish our fans were 'cautiously indifferent', vice 'vocal-whining-that-McD-hasn't-built-a-championship-team-in-2-seasons'!!

And nice retort to number 4!!

LMA confirms that the Suns were very close to signing him.
When Aldridge’s free agency meetings in Los Angeles had all ended and the time had arrived to clear his head on a flight back to his hometown of Dallas, Udoka – who was part of the Spurs’ Popovich-led contingent on the Hollywood scene – played the part of closer and made a final pitch at 30,000 feet. To hear Aldridge tell the story, he may be in Phoenix right about now if not for Udoka’s ability to paint a promising picture about life with the Spurs.

I think most here like Joe Johnson. Not necessarily for our team right now, but he is solid and can be clutch. I like Thad Young and Brook Lopez is pretty good other than not being a great rebounder. I think many teams in the east middle tier might improve quite a bit though, so it might be pretty competitive to get a playoff spot for once (or at least competitive with hopefully the 8 seed being over 500).

That is tough to read about Aldridge. Shows how close the Suns really were. Time will tell whether he made the right decision or not.

Ime Udoka officially surpasses Robert Horry for most hated Spur

The East is weird. While there are at least 5 legitimate contenders in the West (GSW, OKC, SAS, LAC, MEM) the East only has 2 (CLE,ATL). The rest of the East is a mixed bag of potential that won't beat anyone of significance in a 7 game series. MIA looks solid, CHI/WAS have the experience and MIL will continue to grow, but the rest remains to be seen.
There are two categories of mediocre teams in the East. There are a bunch of teams that have a shot at the playoffs if things break right (IND, BKN, TOR, ORL, CHA, NYK, BOS) and the Philadelphia 76ers. The East generally only improves relative to the East. The teams in the middle team shuffle every year, someone "makes" the playoffs, and fans cheer because their team "improved". But look at CHA. Everyone was hype when they made the playoffs two season ago, but they don't have the talent to compete.
As much as critics like to **** on the Nets, they did what they could to try to assemble a team with the talent to compete. It never came together because, as it turns out, Deron isn't very good. It costed the Nets all of their draft picks, but Suns fans know- those 7-15 picks don't generally amount to much. The Nets are a big market organization- they're going to use the advantage of the city to sign free agents and make deals to pry disgruntled players from the middling teams. It doesn't always work, but nothing ever does

I hope the Spurs play like trash this upcoming season. I hope Duncan/Parker/Ginobli all have season ending injuries and then Duncan/Ginobli retire. I hope the Spurs miss the playoffs. I'm bitter as fu** about LMA choosing them. I hope he ends up regretting his decision...

Re: Suns Offseason Thread V: I Am My Brother's Kieffer
Someone uploaded game 3 of the Suns versus Spurs first round match up from 2000 on youtube. I remember going crazy when the Suns won this game. Penny Hardaway had a great game and dominated at the end. Todd Day hit huge shots. And Shawn Marion as a rookie had an amazing game. It really was too bad Hardaway never really recovered from those injuries. He was such an awesome player. He might have been one of the all-time greats had he not been injured. Plus that team could have been special too had it not been for injuries. Anyway, here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwBeVjAFYvA
