Crazy! I totally forgot that. 18!?!

It's crazy to think that we got a solid 6-8 years before our guys(Book/Bender/Chriss & even Ulis) should be entering their prime.

Hopefully they are all still here then. Its hard to keep players.

We have them for 9 years if we want, and by that time, if they are worth keeping they might want to stay regardless.

Can't believe I have to do this again already...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER THAT DRAGAN BENDER AND MARQUESE CHRISS ARE 18-YEAR-OLDS. DON'T TURN ON THEM AFTER A **** SUMMER LEAGUE GAME!

Seriously, these guys showed exactly what you want out of 18 year olds. They were in the right place most of the time, took good shots and hustled on both ends of the floor. Nerves probably played a factor, but that's to be expected. This was a very encouraging showing.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I don't know much about D'Angelo Russell and haven't watched him play much, but I'm not at all impressed watching him now.

As someone posted previously, he's just getting burned constantly by TJ McConnell and then berating his teammates afterward as if it's their fault his feet are bolted to the floor. And other times switching on a screen, and then just wandering around after the wrong guy.

I know he's young, but I used to be intrigued about trading for him if he became available. Now not so much.

of course...he did just knock down that game winner...which was only necessary b/c he let McConnell get another open layup...so take the good with the bad I guess

Russell is an idiot, on top of being a snitch. I know it's Summer League but you're on ESPN, you can't start a post game interview with "MAN I PLAYED LIKE SH*T". I'm embarrassed for J.A. Adande.

When was the last time a player was fined from a Summer League game?

BW, did you see Jonathon Simmons scored 22ppg on 50% shooting in the Utah Summer League? Should have got him in the mock draft thing like I told you too! Hehe

I lol'd at J.A.'s facial expression and attempt to move the mic away after that.

The irony is that he talked about how he was playing on offense. Not his abysmal defense and total lack of self-awareness on that end.

I don't think any of the lottery guys that played today had really good games/put up big numbers?

Bender went for 12/7/1 with 1 TO on 4/13 from the field and 1/7 from 3, Marquese went for 4/6 with 1 TO on 2/10 from the field and 0/3 from 3, Brown went for 9/1 with 0 TOs on 3/13 from the field and 2/5 from 3, Denzel Valentine went for 8/6/1 with 4 TOs on 4/16 from the field and 0/9 (!) from 3, Jamal Murray went for 6/6/4 with 5 TOs on 2/10 from the field and 0/3 from 3, Ben Simmons went for 8/10/8 with 7 TOs on 3/8 from the field and no 3s, and Ingram went for 7/4/1 with 3 TOs on 3/12 from the field and 0/3 from 3. Simmons obviously put up the best numbers, as you'd probably expect, but the rest were pretty damn lack luster.

Moral of the story: One Summer League game isn't enough to judge these guys

Except for Ulis! I declare him better than Price and immediately the 5th G on the team, maybe 4th!
