With all of the rumors surrounding the Celtics tiff with Josh Jackson's agent, it seems NBAdraft needs to update their board.

No need to. They're right on the money!

I'm not yet sold on Booker being the primary ball handler on this team for 82 games. With a few more years experience under his belt maybe he could evolve into the primary ball handler, but not now. I'm betting his shooting efficiency would improve significantly if he was consistently in a catch-and-shoot environment being assisted by a good point guard.

I think Watson and Jackson would be a good relationship, maybe they got along well and Jackson wants to play for him.

I'm sure you can't. With Isaac shutting down workouts and not working out for any team drafting after four, it's looking good for Team Isaac....even though people ignore it. Now I won't be surprised if we don't take him if he's there, but it would likely burn an agent relationship which is not good, if we gave him a promise, and it sure as hell seems like we did.

I'll be fine with anyone but Fox at 4. Just don't trade out of the top of this draft please.

if Jackson is off the board I would be fine with Tatum or Isaac...will be pretty frustrated if we pass on Jackson for Isaac

I'm cautiously very optimistic. I want to believe, bwgood77! I want to believe.

Man I seriously hope the Suns are not considering trading #4 for 29 year old DeAndre Jordan.

Jordan is useless in today's NBA because of his lack of FT shooting and because he kills spacing.

McDonough outlined the process:

“Over the next few days, we’ll have a meeting with our medical team to go over all our medical information that we have and make sure everybody checks out soundly that we’re interested in,” he said.

“At that point, the scouts will submit their rankings to me, (coach) Earl (Watson) and (owner) Robert (Sarver), and then we’ll meet as a group to go over it. That’s an evolving process.

"Obviously, it’s subject to change in case you get any last-minute information on say Wednesday or Thursday but it will be set over the next couple days and then right before the draft we usually explore trade opportunities as well.”

Win-win for both teams......if Magic is desperate enough to chase LeBron

Super interesting idea and I'd be on board. #2 + the contract of Deng for Bledsoe is a good haul.

I just don't think Magic would be willing to do that. #2 for George isn't something he is willing to do. Bledsoe in, even with Deng out, I think prevents them from offering a 2nd max (though they could come close). That said, it is our best hope at the moment to take advantage of LA. I wouldn't be interested in any of their other youngsters aside from maybe Zubac.

If that happened though, I would consider packaging #2 and #4 for Porzingis.

Ulis
Booker
Warren
Chriss
Zingis

with Bender as the 6th man. You can use the Miami picks and our own next year (that team still sucks due to youth) to fill in the holes and upgrade the 1 spot.

Don't think that is correct.

Lopez will have a cap hold of 30ish Million (and should be easy to flip). So will PG13. Bledsoes contract adds 15 Million. Rest are rookie contracs, none of which need to be extended next year. They still have near 30 MM before hitting the cap.

Everyone thought Dunn was their guy last year and thinks Tatum this year. McD's phone will explode if JJ falls. Knicks/Bulls love him.

So if the Pacers get the 2nd pick from LA for George then Ball almost certainly falls to us right?

Celtics aren't picking a point guard and I'm assuming the Pacers nab a SF

Ball is worth considering at 4, jury is out on him.

In that scenario, Phil is more likely to trade Porzingis for our pick, Ball fits in NY pretty well. At that point you wonder if you'd make that trade.

Also I still like Michael-Kidd Gilchrist on our team. I wouldn't trade much for him but he's still only 23 years old. I think TJ Warren to Charlotte would be very interesting (Warren's home town)

TJ and MKG are almost exactly the same age but MKG is already an elite defender/rebounder and his contract is decent. I love TJ but his fit on this team is questionable long term and I personally would be hesitant in giving him a new contract next summer

They have Howard now so I'm not sure what the hell they're doing.

My hopes at this point:

4. One of Jackson, Isaac. If we take Tatum I won't be pissed but won't be as happy as either of those. Would hate Fox honestly.

32. Semi, Ferguson, Bell (hope one falls to there), Hart. I can live with Brooks but prefer these others.

54. Jeanne (huge gamble but if our med team clears him then worthwhile), Morris (know it won't happen but think he'll be good), Motley, or Simmons (as a long-term combo guard project in the new 2 way D league format).

There is no chance that the Lakers are that stupid. They just tossed DAR out like yesterday's garbage for a salary dump. They seem to be convinced that they are getting PG and have a shot convincing Lebron to meet with them.

Now imagine the Cavs get PG (not impossible) and Suns get Butler (50/50). That means the Lakers dumped DAR for nothing
