They wanted to search lil Wayne which forced him to drop from the festival. They also arrested Kodak black for weapons charges. Let’s not all hate on josh because of dirty racist cops in Miami. He shouldn’t have ran but trying to get into VIP doesn’t sound like a reason to be arrested. Miami Gardens is also Home to one of the most crime in Miami. The police there are out of control and will arrest anyone black and moving. This also goes along with Memorial Day weekend on south beach. The police and government are trying hard to end that event so they arrest everyone for anything. It’s moreso the police and politicians trying to control anything hip hop or having to deal with minorities than it is them being menaces. Although Kodak black isn’t the smartest person I would hold judgement on Josh jackson for now knowing where this happened and by who
As I mentioned, I can see having problems with security being heavy handed idiots and exposing them after the fact. The part that I have no tolerance for is running from the cops after being handcuffed, where the hell you gonna go? You dont think they are gonna know who you are?!
SO you don’t think it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that a police officer in one of the most corrupt cities in America lied about Josh jackson running while handcuffed? I don’t believe anything cops say.

Anything is possible but not probable. If it says he fled and resisted then at the very least I believe he tried to walk away or resisted while talking ****. I know how frustrating it can be, Im a black man in his 40's, but there are things you can not do while dealing with the cops. Arguing and pulling away is **** STUPID, you recourse after you have been placed under arrest is legal action AFTER.... STFU at that point. At that point your mouth and attitude can only get you in more trouble, people have talked themselves into getting arrested plenty of times. I'm not saying what the cops personal attitude and position could be, there are cops that goad you into reacting so they can screw you, you cant let it happen!!

Running away while handcuffed in a crowded hip hop festival on the last day while standing 6 ft 8 inches tall and a millionaire with other millionaires with him seems like the more improbable story. I think we should all let people be innocent until proven guilty and not vice versa like what’s happening now.

I understand you, but the problem with Jackson is that this is not the first time that he is involved in a bad situation.
I would give him the benefit of the doubt, but he is known for some bad **** already.
It is not the first time, not the second one...not even the third time...he has shown so many times now that he is inmature and takes bad decisions on anf off the court.
I want him out of the team ASAP and it is a must if we want to begin a healthy winning culture on the new era under Monty Williams.

If they move on from Josh it will have much more to do with his on court struggles than the little dumb **** he's done off it.

Ayton seems like a good kid so far. Booker is the outlier in our last 5 years of drafts and it seems that we just got lucky.
This is a lesson and reminder that you draft character, leadership, personality FIRST. Don't draft athleticism or potential unless you have a solid foundation of values. You can teach basketball, you can improve athleticism, but you can't fix stupid.

If we get pick 2: Ja
If we get pick 3 or less: Trade the pick
Bumpy (19 mil) + JJ ($6 mil) combine for $25 mil and both could be called expirings.
Add TJ (12 mil) and we get to $37 mil in outgoing value.
That puts us in play for pretty much anyone.

That's the right line of thinking, If we can pull it off of course!........![]()
Although, Don't our cap holds ( Oubre) affect that to some degree too???
And which teams could be our best options for this?

Two things:
1) I would stop at Zion - no need to go to Morant
2) But you forgot to include the #3 pick as cash going out the door. And TJ is really only worth 10.5m but Josh is worth 7m
Tyler (19.4) + Josh (7.0) + TJ (10.5) + #3 pick (6m) is actually 41m

All Cops Are Bastards. There are no good cops, so I don't believe anything a cop says until there is undeniable and provable facts about whatever happening actually happening. I also don't see how trying to enter a VIP area "too many times" is cause for handcuffing someone. I've snuck into backstage or VIP areas plenty of times. If I get caught, I get thrown out. How is arresting someone a valid way to deal with the situation. Something smells fishy here.
