Not even close. Cleveland could offer up Wiggins/Varejao straight up for Love and The Wolves would take it in a heartbeat. If Cleveland wanted to keep Wiggins, they could offer the Wolves Waiters/Bennett/Varejao for Love and Minny would still take it.

No way Minny takes the second deal. But anything with Wiggins they would do.

Wiggins will almost certainly be more effective. He will most likely be starting, if not right away, pretty soon. They will probably start him at 2 next to Irving and he will mostly probably be relied on for defense. Waiters is better for the 6th man role because he's a scorer. Warren will mostly likely not see much playing time unless we lose Green and Tucker and don't replace either.

He may very well see more time, and I think he'll be a good defender, but I don't think he'll be very effective on offense his first year. I think Warren's more NBA ready, but I've been wrong before.

Recall, fwiw, that Warren has about 25 pounds and a year of college experience on Wiggins. I think there are lots of reasons to think he'll be the better player this season, if he plays.

Not one of those trades makes any sense.

Usually teams do sign and trades with the teams that need cap space to get a player locked up. There is no reason for the suns to have to do a sign and trade. What I am saying usually the acquiring team usually initiates the trade, not the losing team. Or out of courtesy...ie amare trade. With lebron, there would be no sign and trade.

Chicago wanted to do a sign and trade with New York to free up cap space. They wanted to do a sign and trade with boozer. New York said no.

If LBJ leaves, MIA will have two options- up the offer to Bosh, keep Wade, and use an S&T of LBJ to get more fill-in pieces. The offense then re-orients around Wade and Bosh and the new pieces. That team can still be competitive, especially in the East. Spo will do a good job of making it work. Riley is a very good GM, and will make something happen.

They key for S&T scenarios is always dependent on whether or not the receiving team thinks its worth it- in the case of LBJ, everybody wants him, so teams will compete for the privilege of getting him even via S&T and even if they have to give up more pieces to make it happen.

What exactly is Lebron's incentive to work with Miami on a sign and trade? The newest CBA changed some rules on how sign-and-trades work.

Oh, no doubt he's more offensively ready than Wiggins, but he will likely get a fraction of the playing time. If they got similar playing time, I think you'd probably be right, offensively speaking.

The only incentive would be if he wanted to go to a place without enough cap space, like Houston for example, and Miami could net Terrence Jones, another player and a draft pick or something. Other than that, no reason. If a team can sign him outright, it makes no sense for that team to give up anything.

---Just a warning--- Guys, leave the Cleveland board alone. Many of your statements made over there can be considered trolling. We let s**t slide a little more over here as we are talking about our own team, but saying the same thing over there is not the same. You are just stiring the s**t and asking for trouble. You have been warned.

Wait and see what the market does. They've probably already told him they want to keep him but they want to focus on LeBron first because to sign Bledsoe first would be counterintuitive to getting the big name free agents, considering Bledsoe's cap hold is so small.

Some people think he will get the max. I'm guessing he ends up at 4x12. He is probably deserving of a little less, but that deal should be deemed fair by Bledsoe and his agent.

Wtf I know that but that is dangerous territory regardless of being able to match. It could leave a bad vibe with bledsoe and the Suns if he goes and agrees to a max with the Lakers? Remember Eric Gordon?

Thats what I hope the Suns do see what hes worth on the market and get a deal done so he doesnt sign with another team. Rextricted free agency is a buisnesx but its still weird if a player signs with someone else regardless of the team matching an offer.

I think Bled could get 11-12 mil for first 2 years but final 2 years are back loaded for a max.

There are really no more teams that will likely offer him a deal, at least no where near the max. People have mentioned the Lakers, but that's been argued and talked about enough. If the Lakers can't sign anyone else, there is a slight possibility, but they want to keep their cap sheet clean for 2015 and 2016 so giving one guy so much money doesn't seem like a good plan, and they might be weary of injury prone guards.

And if they did it holds up buisness for 3 days not good for a team rebuilding.

Even if Lebron doesnt come hes making teams wait so we can sign Bledsoe on our terms if u give a restricted free agent player a offer you cant make a move for 3 days the team matches on that third day.

We know how it works. What do you want them to do? That's the nature of the beast that is restricted free agency. Just hope no one offers him a contract, which right now seems unlikely.

Sam Amick: LeBron's agent also reps Eric Bledsoe, & some skeptical these talks w/ teams largely motivated by desire to help EB's cause. Twitter @sam_amick

- Is lebron using us to help EB? If that's the case, F you lebron.

If Lebron wanted to help Bled he would of signed with a team so the Lakers no longer have to wait for him holds up buisness for 3 days and when lebron and melo are on the market you wait...... Knowing the Lakers they would offer Bled a max if Lebron and Melo already signed

Dang, that would be awful. I really hope McD would have been able to sense that by now. Also, if this is true, what was with Eric posting (and then quickly deleting) a picture of himself in a Suns jersey a few days ago? And finally, in this market, Bledsoe doesn't need help; he'll get money with or without LeBron.
