What's unbelievable is how they repeatedly lied to the police saying they don't know the victim and they had no involvement. Even if they somehow settle the actual assault case by paying off the victims, I think they could still face obstruction of justice charges.

They tried to play hard ball with the police instead of being open and honest and it may cost them.

Wow, great reporting there. Still just Hood's words, and his girlfriends, who apparently said it was ten guys involved, verses the Twins. We better hear some actual evidence, with all these judgements.

No doubt the twins were there, and no doubt that Hood sent the mother texts, but still only Hood's stance that he mentored the twins about six or seven years ago. And according to Hood, he hasn't had any contact with the twins in four years.

And again, according to InLen's roommate, Markieff did not participate in the assault. So is Hood a liar? Ten people involved? The case seems thin at best. Either way, this won't go over well for the twins and the team.

OK guys, my roommates are not involved in this whole situation anymore so they weren't in court, meaning I won't be getting any new info.

However, I can honestly say that the Morris twins are **** STUPID! They claimed to not know the victim and told their mom to tell police that she didn't know the victim....Seriously? First of all, there were witnesses. There aren't a whole lot of identical black 6'9 twins in Phoenix driving 6 figure $ cars. It was obviously them and they wouldn't just jump someone they don't know. And it probably took about 2 minutes worth of work by detectives to see the phone logs between the mother and the victim.

Second, a couple months ago I used a mutual contact to try to get Markieff or Marcus to talk to one of the witnesses over the phone. They declined because they decided they would rather maintain the completely innocent stance as if that has a chance of working. Brilliant **** idea. Who is their lawyer? Angel Morris?

Third, Markieff could EASILY get off with a misdemeanor charge if they just told the truth and let the detectives know that Keef was not physically involved and Marcus was. Instead, they are choosing to lie and say neither one of them did anything.

I can't imagine that a legitimate lawyer is actually mentoring them through this. They are making this situation much worse.

Listening to those comments by the Morris brothers is bad. Saying they were not involved and that his name sounds familiar but they do not know him. Ugh. Their next court appearance is June 30. Great. Right after the draft and the day before free agency starts. No team is going to want these guys. Suns are in a tough spot. This could threaten to mess up whatever the Suns are trying to do.

I said that the witness accounts differed greatly, meaning it's a he said she said situation, with zero evidence other than the differing witness accounts. None of this shows a defense of the twins. So if you want to continue looking dumb over this, be my guest.

Initially InLen said that Marcus may have gotten in some blows, now it's a definite? Seems as if the evidence is changing over time. Either way, if InLen's roommate says that Makieff didn't participate, and Hood says that he definitely did, then who is the liar?

Still doesn't seem like enough evidence to convict, which was my stance from the start. Now back to your regularly scheduled putting false claims on posters.

Again, so far, what Hood has said seems to be the only evidence that everyone is basing the information. We have seen no evidence to prove that the twins really know this guy. Only Hood's statement of mentoring them many years ago. InLen's roommate doesn't know Hood, does he? InLen's roommate doesn't know the twins personally, does he? From InLen's comments, his roommate seems to be a credible witness, so why isn't he being summoned to court for testimony? We haven't seen the texts.

There are so many questions unanswered, and so far every news story only uses Hood's or his girlfriend's accounts. So what am I supposed to do? Jump on the rumor bandwagon, and believe every word Hood says, even thoug InLen has repeatedly said that the cops blew this one, were trying to change what his roommate accounted to fit their report?

All we really know is someone in the twins' entourage broke Hood's nose, and gave him contusions.

Do you know if any witnesses are going to testify? It likely is going to come down to that. Sounds like the police and prosecutor can likely prove their mom knew the guy if they check phone logs like you say, but that doesn't prove they beat the guy. Someone will need to testify, and that will probably take balls. Now the guy can testify and that could be enough, but not for sure if they have a good attorney. The twins can plead the fifth so they won't really have to answer any questions in court. So at this point it would come down to what the jurors are convinced they believe beyond a reasonable doubt.

I don't know if it can get settled out of court at this point, but if it can, there may be a good chance of that. Too bad JDLAW isn't around or he might be a little more knowledgeable on these things.

You still think that the Morris twins don't know the guy despite multiple reports stating that they've been mentors and long time family friends to the twins?

I don't know/care as much if they actually assaulted the guy as much as I care about whether or not they lied to the police department. Apparently 5 people assaulted the guy so Morris twins may or may not be among them. But we know for a fact what they told the police about knowing the victim and based on all "reports", its not true.

Regardless its pretty obvious that these guys are millionaires and will more than likely settle this outside.

The impression I'm getting from things so far is that the twins' lawyer would have to be all-world unreal bad to **** things up and get charges to stick on a pair of millionaires, unless someone else comes forward. If he **** up a case of he said she said where he's representing millionaires who can pay to make it all go away he should probably be disbarred
