Anyone else watching UNC Duke not impressed by Ingram. Missing easy oppertunities around the rim. Meanwhile Simmons is looking really good. Other than his shooting ability his skillset is outstanding

If he refuses to workout with other players in the draft, stay far, far away. If he was there at like 11, 12, 13, I'd think about taking him, but no way in the top 10, and hell no in the top 5.

Who do you want at 3,4 or 5?

I'd need to watch more college ball to say. I really like Buddy Hield and Denzel Valentine. I think people penalize players who stay longer and do extremely well. They don't seem undersized or unathletic (well, Hield at least), so I don't know why they're going so low. I'd need to see some of the bigs move around the floor before I'd say I'd take them high. Hield looks like a top 5 guy to me, though. Valentine isn't top 5, but I like him from 11-18.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Ingram doesn't turn 19 until this September tho. He's almost ayear and a half younger than Simmons

Sean Miller taking no mercy on ASU. Cats rolling and are in first place as of right now. Nice having Trier back.

Ingram came to life in the second half. Excellent off the isolation and a good shot blocker. If he gets stronger and puts on another 20-25lb then I really hope he is a Sun next year

I'll just take 10 lbs of muscle and 15 overall. I don't even think KD has gained 25 pounds since his college days...

Not lying I know anything about scouting but summarizing what I know:
The Spurs are interested in him and that has to mean something.
He is very young (and we know McD likes drafting very young guys).
From what I heard he is coachible, good character.
Versatile player. Can pass the ball, can defend. I think we need versatility over pure scoring ability. I would love Simmons here for that reason but if we ends with Bender I wouldn't be mad.

"Porzingis is better passer"? IIRC his lack of assists was one of the biggest red flags for him, after being skinny.

Yeah if we somehow get one of the top 2 picks either Simmons/Ingram then Sabonis would be awesome.

Use the last pick on a draft and stache. Hopefully get a guy like jokic to bring over in a couple years.

I'm not sure we really need Sabonis. If our scorers are going to be Warren and Booker going forward, while it would be useful to have a big with a great post game, what we'd need more than anything else is rim protection and the ability to hit the 3 and space the floor. I think we should go for a more mobile, athletic big like Rabb before Sabonis. Just my opinion.

He is a rebounder, strong, as fundamentally sound as you will find, very quick with his feet, can defend both interior and out to the 3pt line, huge motor. Low post scoring is actually pretty low in his strengths.

We could very realistically end up with Ingram and Rabb or Skal. That's a great situation to upgrade our forward spots imo. We'd also have that late 1st and an early second to take a flier on guys who mysteriously drop or lesser known overseas players to stash. We could also use some of our guys to move up. I still wish we could've traded Tele though.

Just watched the highlights of him posted in the trade thread. He is usually listed as PF but doesn't he plays more like center? All his points come in the paint in this video.

Well, his jumpshot is not his strongest weapon. He is an old-school PF now, with plenty of footwork in the paint and back to the basket moves, going left or right. His shot mechanics are not broken so with practice his range should expand out till the corner 3, although this might take a cpl years. Again - he is not a sexy pick, but a good pick in this draft around the 13-15 pick which we'll likely get.

What are the chances that we will draft him with WAS pick and then he grows to 7'3 like his dad?

Sabonis is a 6'10 backup center in the NBA. He has very little athleticism and not much of a perimeter game.

Suns need to get a top 3 pick in reading Fords big board:
Simmons
Ingram
Bender

I do not want Kris Dunn. I get you don't turn down talent - but the Suns need a 4

I started to sour on Dunn when I saw how much older he is than the rest of the guys in the lotto. Dude's older than Archie. :o
