I don't think there are many who don't like him. There are some who don't think he will ever get much playing time in real games unless it is garbage time, but those that think that will probably be wrong. He is a little erratic and is not a good shooter. He has hit some nice shots in SL but we know that's completely different than hitting them in a regular NBA game.

I just think Bogdan will be far more ready. I expect Weems to play more than Goodwin.

Maybe you're right.

However I don't think Teletovic, Price, and Weems secure much more minutes than Goodwin, Warren. IMO, at least one or two of them would be like Anthony Tolliver. So I think Archie still leaves room for getting much playing time. But totally it's up to him.

Curious, are you from Phx, and if not, what makes you a Suns fan. I don't see any Suns fans heading to KU.

Brown doesn't even play. When he did play, his shot looked good. They keep playing that sorry Pekovic lookalike..... He is horrible!!!

Yeah, Harrelson has been pretty bad.

And yet had four blocks in our last game. :o But I agree on Brown's form, his shot looks good.

Noel and Okafor will be a solid front line in this league. Both will make at least a couple all star teams.

Then add in their future picks and stockpile of young talent plus whoever they trade Embiid for and things are looking up in Philly.

For that pick to be worth it, Russell has to turn out to be a Westbrook/CP3/Harden level player. I just don't see him being that guy. He's just not that athletic. He's more in the mold of a guy like Brandon Knight, and while that's great to have on your team, there are an absolute glut of guys who can get it done at that second tier level in the NBA right now.

Okafor is the smoothest big man I've seen in Summer League since Cousins. He has tons of post moves, can finish with either hand, and he's just freaking huge. He's a great franchise center piece.

totally. He doesn't even have to be a great 3pt shooter. if he can even be OK and hit around 35% it will make teams respect that part of the game and will make it so much easier to d what he's good at in getting to the rim.

He's always going to look a little out of control and if he picks his spots with it it's fine.

Agreed, I hope we can develop his three pointer the way we did with Grant Hill. Let him pick his spots (probably baseline three), and shoot from where he's comfortable - no need to force anything. Grant Hill became a 44% 3 point shooter for us, attempting 1 three a game.

That's where I'm hoping Warren will be at some day soon, respectable enough from the three where defenders don't sag on him - while still recognizing that his bread and butter is his craftiness around the painted area.

I think Tele will get a bunch of minutes. It seems silly to sign him to a one year deal at $5.5 million and have him sit. Goodwin will either get those minutes or lose them to Weems. Goodwin may also lose some minutes to Price if defense is wanted. Overall I see Price as an insurance, and a pro to come off the bench whenever needed. But I don't see him getting many minutes.

But I still feel that unless Booker rapidly improves his overall game, we will have a guard rotation of Bledsoe, Knight, Goodwin, and Weems. I still feel coach goes back to having one of Bledsoe or Knight on the court at all times, giving about 32 minutes at the two available. I hope they find a consistent pairing of guards though, so they can develop some chemistry.

I think Leuer, Price, and Booker will see limited minutes unless they get red hot, there are injuries, foul troubles, or pouting from possible rotation guys.

You hit the mark. I am not from Phx. Phoenix Suns has been my favorite team ever since 1993 NBA final.

I really want Suns to win the championship. 8-)

I'd expect PJ to get playing time at the 2 as well, especially if either Bled/Knight gets hurt. A starting lineup of:

Bled/Knight
Tucker
Warren
Kieff
Chandler

Makes sense if one of our guards goes down.

Tucker has a lot of his plate this year. He's really our only seasoned NBA player on the wing.

One of my favorite AZ Wildcats moments was in 97, when 5 seeded AZ played the overall 1 seeded (like 33-1) Jayhawks and Pierce almost led the comeback but Bibby kept nailing free throws down the stretch to win. And AZ knocked off three #1 seeds to win it all, beating Kentucky in OT to take it.

I think everyone on our team. Len is not playing b2b games so he sat out Sunday, but it should be him, TJ Warren, Archie Goodwin, Devin Booker, Mickey McConnell (local kid), Alec Brown, Josh Harrellson, Luke Harangody, Mike James and that's about all I remember.

NY and PHI just went into OT and I'm pretty sure they're playing on the court we are playing on. So the game is delayed at least another 15 min or so.

Let's go! We have to dominate this game, Utah's roster isn't really good.

Yes, we have to wait.
I want to see Lyles from Utah, I think he is overrated but probably I am missing something about his game.

I was wondering what was up. I've been trying to load it for a half hour. Oh, right when I type that it pops up.

Why would you sign a guy like Ronnie Price before summer league? What if a guy broke out? Why max out the roster? I guess we could waive a guy, but that seems like an odd rush signing. I think I'd rather have Mickey.
