He needs to keep the locker room. You dont go in your first day from assistant to HC and tell the vets/starters "I'm sitting you all".

He keeps status quo and says that changes will be made based on merit. Than gives the gig to those deserving

Watson was presumably only hired to lure LMA.

Man it's crazy how fast some of you guys have turned on Quese. I prefer him starting at the 4 for us. TJ and JJ makes zero sense to start together, at least Quese provides some spacing for us and he's shot well and confidently so far. I'd like Dragan to move into the starting lineup eventually, but I personally think his future will be as more of a 5 and he's still not ready to bang down low consistently yet.

Kevin Pelton is on with Gambo - he has three deals

Nuggets: Mudiay and Faried

Magic: Elfrid, Augustin and Herzonja

Cavs: Shumpert and Frye with a pick

Nuggets: bust + overpaid mildly above average player
Magic: bust + bust + overpaid mediocre player
Cavs: mediocre vet + washed up vet, but at least the washed up vet is a hometown fav and there's a pick attached too

about what I expected

this franchise has perfected the art of trading players at their lowest possible value

How so? Just because Kevin Pelton thinks this is what will be traded? People also thought we'd have to attach a lotto pick to get rid of Kieff. People also thought we would get nothing for Goran. We have actually done quite freaking well in these scenarios. Kevin Pelton also is not particularly good at what he does fwiw.

So we have 12 active players (two on two-way contracts so only 45 days on the team before the are G-Meat)

James / Ulis
Booker / Daniels
Warren / Jackson / DJJ
Chriss / Bender / Peters
Chandler / Len

5 Injured or at home

Knight/Bledsoe
Reed
Dudley
Williams

Too me we need to move more players and take less back. Bledsoe for three players is not gonna work. It's got to be two or three of ours for one or two of theirs. Any chance we could move Bledsoe and Knight for a single player?

At least one writer is saying it. We definitely need a full change at the top down through the entire front office.

I saw a Yahoo article about Nash being the answer. But I think he's staying far away until Sarver is gone, he's too smart to jump in this dumpster fire.

Wow, that article is brutal.

Watch the video.

She nails it and i dont have any doubts that Sarver is the one that forces McD's hand and doesnt let him do his job properly.

I wonder what this forum would look like if Booker tweeted he didn't want to be here. Of course they've already annointed him as the savior and face of the franchise so that's unlikely to happen unless they trade Ulis or prolong his extension negotiation or something.

And by annointing him that they've almost forced themselves to have to give him a max which he hasn't really earned yet.

Yeah, maybe Joakim Noah. No, that player would have to be making like $25 million or something.

Brutal but true. Sarver is a joke and this franchise shows it.

Yeah, it makes sense to start Quese. Not because he is better than JJ/TJ, but more for his sake. He needs to play with some talent. Bender and JJ should be nice off the bench with Ulis, Len and Daniels. I think all these guys will get a lot of minutes. Probably DJJ too.

Jackson will be more involved with the offense playing with Ulis and Bender as well, than he was with Booker and Bled (and likely James).

I kick myself over the thought of what this team would look like having the Russell/Booker backcourt that i was always talking about.

He'd sell it to someone who would immediately take them to Seattle.

I would have liked that too and brought it up as a possibility if the Lakers lost their pick last year and we got 3rd and Jackson was gone..take Ball and trade for Russell. Though I probably would have wanted Isaac by the time the draft got here

Everyone looks like they got kicked in the nuts right now at shoot around....except James, giddy as a schoolgirl.

If we get some craptastic package back I will no longer be a Suns fan until Sarver sells the team.

That is completely baseless speculation BW.

I'm going to be honest, that sounds straight like front-office propaganda. Do you get paid by the team?

Its not that much of a stretch when there has been word that Seattle has major people with major money that are trying to bring basketball back to the rain.
