those stats are slanted to make it look closer then it is, and VAJ knows it. There isn't a single person with NBA knowledge that would say Goran is as effective or more effective at scoring compared Aaron Brooks. He's just not. He's a better passer, and a better defender, and an all around better player IMO - but he's not a better scorer, so don't go placing percentages up there.
There was a time when Pat Burke was shooting 100 percent from three, too. Let's get real.
This trade has me more concerned for the future, too. But only because it means that Nash is probably leaving, and Aaron Brooks is a backup at best. Truth be told, Goran was too.
I agree that we have by far the most bad ass bench in the NBA now. And I think that without a doubt, this team just got better. Maybe we got Aaron to lower ease off Nash's minutes, not to trade him this summer.
