We could trade for Marshawn Lynch...doesn't look like Seattle really cares too much for him.

I have no idea what role he'd play...maybe Public Relations spokesperson? :D

Also soon will be the day that vets are bought out to allow them to make a playoff push (Amare and a few others I am sure)

Will be interesting

I have a feeling Ryan does something

I wouldn't mind having him replace Plumlee

Lots of drama on this team right now from the Morris twins to Dragic, to IT, to Green, to Plumlee.

But I trust Ryan.

If the right opportunity comes along, I bet we make a move.

But I also wouldn't be surprised to see us stand pat and ride things out. Our biggest situation is Dragic. Perhaps we offer him a max deal and promise to trade IT if he resigns. But we don't trade IT until we have a firm commitment from Dragic.

If we could snab TJones Faried for the Morris twins and then trade IT, Tucker, Plumlee to move up in the draft we could roll with

Bledsoe/Ennis
Matthews/Goodwin
Warren/Bullock
Faried/Wright
Len/Wright

Then just wait for Warren and Len to develop. Could lock up the whole team for several years.

Kerr was a complete and utter disaster before the Miracle of 2010.

Give me Kieff on his contract over Faried on his every day.

The only way I'll be disappointed is if we don't trade Green.

We have 15 guys on this team that are worthy of roster spots, so no empty filler, plus possibly 2 firsts next draft, meaning we would have to trade or cut 2 guys. Plumlee is the other obvious candidate to move, but on a rookie deal for a few more years makes him less pressing than Green.

A team will give Green the MLE, meaning Phoenix won't have him next year, at least not for a price it would want to pay, and he's not needed with our roster makeup. We have 3 guards capable of eating up all of his minutes.

Yea, but on that kind of team I'd take the D and rebounding. I agree with you though.

I never heard that we were ever interested in chandler. We sure you guys weren't referencing okc only? I know that was mentioned too. In hindsight, Charlotte should have tried keeping him

Green, Mook and Plumlee works for Taj and Snell works in the trade checker, I'd do that deal to shore up the defense and bring in a legit leader. Bench thins out a bit but means more time for Warren and Bled/Dragic, which I'm all for.

Is Boston trying to trade Sully or no? I'd love to snag him as insurance/replacement if we bail on the Morri. He's got a great contract for 2 more years, would help clean up our payroll to resign Goran this summer.

Players I want us to explore moving before the deadline; GGreen, Tucker, GDragic and possibly IT and Marcus.
Green doesn't really seem to have a future here and should chase the money in the offseason. Tucker's contract is average but it's still 5mil a year locked up for a below average starter who's only really plus is his hustle and can hit the corner three on occasion. IT and Marcus I'm okay with moving but I don't mind them playing their roles.
Dragic is a tough one to move but I think it'd benefit us. I love his game and what he brings. But I don't think we can win it all with him being matched up to a bigger more physical SG every night in the playoffs.
If we could move them for 1st rd picks in like 17/18 with very little protection I'd be okay with that. By then we'll know what we have in our young players and can draft for need hopefully bolster an already dangerous team.

I've been seeing his name thrown around a lot but I think the Celtics would be crazy to move him. Yes they're a rebuilding team moving older vets for picks. But I think they'd be crazy to move a 22yr old pf who rebounds the ball and can help stretch the floor. We'd have to give up more value then he's worth to be able to pry him from Ainge.

Wouldn't mind the Suns throwing some money at Hassan Whiteside in the summer

I'd do that for sure. Not sure if Chicago has enough incentive though.

Totally agree. Sure, Faried's a better PF, but he's not $4.5M per year, or what, total of, is it $22M more overall? Faried doesn't take us from the 8th/9th seed to 5th/6th seed, like an Ibaka or better yet, a Millsap would. And honestly, Kieff might be a nice complement to Len in a year or two, so long as he stays out of trouble. Kieff is a nice offensive player, but still feel he could improve on his defensive prowess as he matures. I doubt he'll ever be a rebound machine, but that's ok--we can't have an all-star at EVERY position, and feel EB and Len will be in the next 2-3 years. Remember, EB is still developing as well, so no need for anyone to feel that EB won't improve over time. I'm not guaranteeing it, but saying it's a strong possibility that he does.

And Dragic is nice and have no issue with paying him to stay, but if ultimately he goes and we get a Wes Matthews type, or better, SG, then I'd be ok with that as well. Then as AtheJ mentioned, allow Warren to develop into our primary scorer, and we'll have a well balanced team.
