Never mind, no need for us to give up a first round pick when we are trying to develop 2 pf's already.

Hopefully suns on any Hood conversations.

Need a bruising PF though... Always need someone like that who can bang and make other team's players work down low. Or make someone feel it during screens.

The Nuggets get Millsap back in a month or so I read today. They are currently 6th in the West but also only a game out of 9th - though comfortably ahead of 10th place.

I do wonder what they are looking for - but if Daniels would be a player they would be interested in. Granted, with Harris, Murray - pretty good guard play.

Lou Williams great contract 8 million per year. Expected around 14 to 15 million a year just from this season alone... But great contract and value.

I think many GMs jumped the shark a couple of years ago signing mediocre players to huge albatross contracts.

Suns included with Chandler IMO... He should have been signed 10 million a year not 15.

If the salary cap do not increase as projected previously... I can see some team's trading picks to dump contracts... I don't want Suns to be one of these teams.

Next big contract needs to be for a legit star player.

Yeah, that contract is great for the Clippers.

which is why not trading assets, probably taking a bad contract and having to pay a good player but not franchise type in Kemba Walker

its fun to make trades, exciting to discuss - but might be wise to keep cap space -

I don't know if this is good news for the Suns. Will the market be so poor that even with more cap money, the salaries will be low to keep more team involved with Free Agents, Mid Levels, etc.

Suns have 14m now, with Len, that can get to 21m. That should be pretty good player

I think Lou Williams took that contract because of the length... But did he give Clippers a discount?

Is it due to location or because he was told the team will go for LeBron James and Paul George in the off season lol

Gambo has said a few minutes ago that he expects one trade tomorrow. We will probably trade one or more second round picks for a PG.

He said that there are too many games left and he expects that move tomorrow.

My feeling is they weren't getting the value they were looking for coming up to the trade deadline and that could possibly be due to Lou's expiring deal and the uncertainty around how much he'll be worth. Clippers signing him to a super friendly deal (kinda a robbery if you ask me) means he's locked in and he will be worth more when he becomes available for trades again. Good move by the Clips but I don't really get why Lou would agree to $8m a year ($1m increase from his current deal)...

I'd move a second or two for Mudiay. Even if he's no better than Ulis, at least he gives us some size in that position

Interesting that Gambo expects us to make a trade for a PG. Wonder who that'll be if it happens? The obvious option is Mudiay, he checks the "young player" box and should be available for something like Daniels and a 2nd rounder or 2. Marcus Smart could be a dark horse too, considering he's still pretty young, he plays tough defense, and he could be available for something like our second rounder once they realize they won't get a first.

Elfrid Payton could probably be had for a couple of seconds as well.

Agreed, although I don't know how eager we should be to help other tanking teams tank lol

If they can grab Mudiay for a second or two I'm cool with that. He has tallent and sometimes a change of scenery is good for a young guy.

Oh and if lou williams can only get 8mil per any team who offers bradley 15 mil per this offseason is dumb as ****. That Williams contract might be a sign its gonna be a rough ass summer for these FAs.

Think dudley and the others FA that signed in 2016 call their agents every night thanking them? Lol

As useless as Daniels if he isn't hitting 3's, I wouldn't move him so easily. He's on a great contract, still our best 3PT shooter and it's always good to have a shooter who can come in and light things up. If they are looking to just move him, I'd just give them 2nds.
