Thanks NTB.

Wonder what the context of this tweet is? Why is he referencing being treated like a transaction? Sounds like he could be repeating what he hears from the Morri, but I really have no idea.

Dude, you're paranoid.

I have a question for the board. Montrezl is in an interesting situation in Houston. With KJ McDaniels' new deal, Houston may very well only be able to offer Montrezl the rookie minimum. What happens if he won't take it? Does he have to play overseas at that point since Houston has his draft rights? When do the rockets lose their rights to him?

Amin Elhassan and the rest of the clowns at ESPN are a joke.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/481436682244214784[/tweet]

(ESPN has been criticized in media circles over the years for attributing reports from people like Wojnarowski, Jay Glazer, Dan Wetzel, and Mike Silver as “media reports” as opposed to giving credit to the outlet.)

Elhassan is a tool. He is way too full of himself because of his 15 minutes. Hopefully they are almost over. That Woj tweet was awesome.

Anyone can be traded. Didn't think it was possible Denver could get rid of him.

@WojYahooNBA: Denver has agreed to a deal to send guard Ty Lawson to Houston, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

I give it 4-5 years tops before he finds himself out of the league and that's being generous.

I've gone back and forth with him on twitter too. Most of his tweets are trying to make fun of posters tweeting him. He's not too good at it though. He makes himself look like an ass.

iirc, I think we talked about a similar situation last year, and I think he would have to play overseas and then become a free agent next summer. Not sure though. Might be worth tweeting question to Larry Coon, though I don't know if he still answers tweets.

His comeback was very weak but I wasn't trying to make fun of him. I was trying to say hey you got to let the hate go. And then he comes back and "tries" to make fun of me. Kinda sad.

@WojYahooNBA: Sources: As part of deal for Ty Lawson, Houston will send Kostas, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey, Nick Johnson and a protected first to Denver.

@WojYahooNBA: From Houston to Denver, that includes forward Kostas Papanikolaou.

I'd be all aboard bringing him to give us frontcout depth. But the Rockets even if they doesn't sign him and give him a roster spot maintain Montrezl's draft rights for as long as he plays in another professional league if he choses to do so. Its the Rocket's perogative to relinquish their rights if its beneficial to them and this would usually be requested by the player's agent. But his draft rights can be dealt in a trade so they could just withhold him from the rest of the NBA

Wow. Since Harden dominates the ball, Lawson is going to need to regain his 3 pt shot....check out the percentages by year since he came into the league.

Lawson's assists will go down a lot if McHale sticks to the Morey-ball of having Harden handle and create.

They should really be targeting a Reddick type PG/SG and a play making SF to maximise Harden and Howard.

Something like Reddick/Harden/Iguadala/Jones/Howard would wreck the league....

Morey dumping C-class assets is so typical... I dont even know why other GMs pick up his phone calls... you know he'll offer up a low-ball.

Morey never loses a trade... ridiculous.

@InsiderSuns: Final: Suns 93 | Pelicans 87
• Booker (PHX) 31pts, 9rebs, 2asts
• Harrellson (PHX) 19pts, 9rebs
• James (PHX) 13pts, 4rebs, 6asts

I think booker is a keeper. Booker develops alittle more the Suns could (and absolutely should) move to a traditional PG and sG lineup. Trade off Bledsoe (unless he proves me and Many many many others this year and shows he is a capable PG/shooter but highly unlikely).

I agree with you on Booker. Bogdanovic could also provide even more depth and Size for us at the wing, next year. Our back court is really beginning to take shape.

Hopefully both Bledsoe and Knight have fine years along with Goodwin. We could then really have some great assets to make a trade for the franchise player we have been after forever.

If Pacers continue to struggle this year I can see Paul George asking for a trade. I would want him, but don't thinks he's a superstar to win a chip with but is a great complimentary piece to a superstar. He would be great for us at the 3, but if Warrend develops a 3 I would rather have him.

I firmly believe this is a make or brake year for Bledsoe. If he stubbles out of the gate, I think he will be traded by the all-star break. If he can't prove he can be the lead PG he is going to be gone. He has to bring it every night, not just 1 out of every 10 games.

This is a great read. In-depth analysis of BKnight's position conundrum by a Bucks blogger that I'm referring to in this post. http://www.brewhoop.com/2014/7/24/5790868/brandon-knight-point-guard-shooting-guard

I'm not sold on BKnight being our PG of the future since he prefers to be the primary ballhandler only to create for himself and has a tendency to aimlessly milk the shot clock only to hoist a contested possesion killing three. Despite Bled's many faults, at least he does not have the vice of selfishness and his turnovers are mostly due to him being overeager in trying to create by trying to razzle dazzle passes into tight windows. BKnight simply lacks the will/ playmaking instincts and court vision and statistically the Bucks offense was at its peak when he was playing alongside a secondary ballhandler who could relieve him of some of the burden of a facilitating an offense(although this did detract from his box score numbers and lowered his usage rate). When he was paired with a more traditional SG who overlapped his strengths and was given the reigns of an offense it suffered as a result. Interestingly enough he "flourished" and had a great stretch he was paired with Giannis in the backcourt who just played there because the Bucks wanted another wing in the lineup.

By re-signing BKnight and giving him the longterm commitment we are hoping that this 2 PG experiment works and that he can still retain his high-volume scoring output on less tries while playing off the ball. BKnight did show some encouraging signs last year and he was not just the nominal PG on the Bucks as you would expect. He was for the most part utilized as such as his possesion time, touches and passes per game indicate as well as his increase in % of P&R/transition/iso plays in comparison to the decrease in % of screens and spot up plays off the ball). Overall he made strides by increasing his Player Effecienct Rating, Tru Shootine %, Win Shares and Offensive Ratng across the board although they for the most part underwhelmed in comparison to the league average as his Real Plus Minus is well into the negatives and puts him in the bottom rung of all guards in that regard. So to conclude BKnight has plenty of untapped potential which a s o far upward career trajectory at the young age of 23 but is still an unwilling/undersized 2 in a 1's body but has the flexibility to be played as a combo guard, something Bled doesn't.

Amin is a horrible person who thinks he's witty and clever. I hope one day ESPN hires on Lon Babby to a pOsition where he can fire Amin... Again lol

Yes, there is nothing more annoying to me than someone who thinks they are smart, witty, clever, funny, etc, and clearly are not, and continue to embrace that belief.

Well, other than all announcers having to say "score the basketball" instead of "score". I have never understood this. Are they afraid we will be confused about scoring something other than the basketball while in game discussion? Are they mandated by the league to say basketball as much as possible? Because they ALL do it.

Actually the first thing bothers me more, but that "score the basketball" phrase while watching a basketball game is absurd.
