I don't think I've ever studied or been as familiar with this many of the prospects in the draft. I mean it is going to be extremely interesting well into the second round and probably all the way to the end of the draft.

IMO a bouncier Marvin Williams with shot blocking minus intangibles isn't Chriss's floor. He could very well end up being Stromile Swift with a jumper

So the GOAT?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Just like Bender's floor is Jan Vesely.

Just like Hield's floor is Jimmer.

Just like Murray's floor is Jerryd Bayless.

I mean, this draft is sorely lacking in high-end prospects. There are exactly two. Everyone from 3-8 has a significant flaw in their game and 8-35 is an absolute cluster.

Chriss and Bender have the highest ceilings in my opinion. The "winner" of this draft is going to be the team that can coach up one of those two.

Wow I need it it to be Thursday so I can stop looking into stupid **** like this.

at this moment, Marquese is following Coach, but Coach is not following Marquese. i don't know.....who knows? we'll see

It doesn't look like he's following Brad Stevens though. Any other coaches?

I prepared myself to see our team drafting Chriss at #4 and Dejounte Murray at #13. :nonono:

I'm all for swinging for the fences but you still gotta consider opportunity cost and take a calculated risk. The dropoff isn't considerable unless you envision Chriss becoming the lovechild of Prime STAT/Ibaka he's not worth the reach. He could just as easily washout of the league and end up in China if he doesn't put it together before the completion of his rookie contract

Yeah, that's my fear, and at 13 I loved the risk, but at 4 it makes me nervous. I'll be much more ok with it if Bender is off the board when we pick, but my gut tells me he might not be.

I'm just happy that we were able to fleece the Wizards for the #13 pick

IF, McD goes with Chriss. My gut says he'll be sacked this time next year. Edit: Sarver sacks him no matter who they pick. Lol

If I was going to invest that high of a pick in a guy like Chriss, I'd plan on having a specialist for him to work with. I'd have him work with guys like Hakeem, Cliff Robinson, maybe a Detlef Schrempf, just let him get exposed to guys that can teach him to play inside and outside, fundamentals, shooting....etc.

For Boston/ Lakers. Doubt the Suns pull off a blockbuster.

No reason not to give McDonough the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the draft. I'll keep an open mind on whomever they end up selecting.

I would say "Boston can't offer what we can! come on......be optimistic!" but then I remembered that I'm a Suns fan, and that's not how we roll.

Let's face it, this team ain't gonna win many games next season. Sarver is impatient. My money says McD is gone sooner than later.

I'd take that money. I'll be seriously surprised if McD isn't the GM in 2017-2018.
