Fultz is the clear cut #1 prospect. The pundits talking about Ball vs. Fultz for #1 overall are just trying to create controversy like the Ingram vs. Simmons debate last year when it was obvious who was going #1.

I don't really like the idea of moving Bledsoe at the deadline, but I might be more open to it on Draft Day. The market for him is teams stuck between the bottom and the playoffs that want to make a push, and trading them a very good player in exchange for their draft pick at the end of the year gives too much opportunity to turn that 4th to 14th pick into a 15th or higher pick with how tight standings are, especially in the East. For a player of his caliber, I'd rather wait until the draft where his value could be even higher after he shows he can play an entire season, he continues to play the best ball of his career, and (most importantly) we know which pick we are getting and don't have the risk of it's value being destroyed before we can use it.

Bledsoe isn't stopping this tank from rolling, we are still a really bad team despite being competitive most nights and winnings a few surprise games. There's no rush to trade him now if it's in the name of protecting our draft stock; he's been healthy all year and we're still at the bottom. I'm not even set on trading him in general to be honest.

Yeah I'm not too worried about bledsoe messing up the tank. I can't see anyone but the lakers passing them up. Now just to be careful i would rest bledsoe on every back to back and probably limit him to around 30 mins a game... basically give him the embiid treatment the rest of the way. No reason to run him or anyone else into the ground these next couple months.

Orlando is tanking hard. Tough to see them winning many more games. Boston (BKY), Lakers, Orlando, Suns, Minn, Philly. I think we finish 4th unless we commit to the tank. Love the idea of resting Bledsoe regularly.

I like bledsoe, I don't trust his knees. He has a major knee injury every other year so he is due again next season. If Sacramento keeps their pick this year I'd trade Eric to the kings to play with his buddy. Its good for Eric and keeps the kings franchise player happy. So the kings pick (7-10), maybe get WCS and a lightly protected 2021 first ad well. 2021 is the next pick they can trade.

If we do decide to trade Bledsoe, the Kings might be able to offer the best deal since they are working to get into the playoffs.
WCS and either a 2017 first (if everything fell in place and they retained it), or WCS and 2 future firsts (though they won't be great).

As good as Bledsoe is, how many teams would offer a ton for him? How many actually need him (that have things to offer)?
Maybe Milwaukee?

I am happy we have McD because I do trust him to make a good pick regardless.

Yes, Len isn't great, but the guy has talent still.
Warren is still a work in progress, but with the late lottery pick we used to get him, he's not a bad talent.
Of course Booker @ 13.
His track record has been solid.

Can we add Chriss @ 8 to that? How about Ulis in the second round? Both guys are looking solid thus far, though it's very early.

I wonder if McD is only going to trade Tucker for a 2017 First or would he trade him for a future First. I think given the roster make up at the moment, a future First would be better. Suns will have a Top 5 pick this year and atleast 2 picks next year. TJ, Devin, Chriss, Bender, and Ulis will all be on their rookie deals going into next season.

Playing Bledsoe heavy minutes to win games would be the the stupidest thing we could possibly do. Risk injury to him when the season is over and hurt our draft pick location.

I want to see more Ulis.

A "mystery" injury to Bledsoe would be ideal. A hangnail perhaps.

If we keep Bledsoe pass the deadline, I would love the Suns to rest him for the rest of the season. No need to gamble on them knees. Start Knight and hope he gains some interest going into the offseason.

That's a good point and the same goes for these various Bledsoe trade proposals. Trading Bled for one or more 2017 picks puts us in an awkward position of probably needing to seek yet another trade at draft time so we don't have 3+ rookies two years in a row. There's always draft and stash, etc., but I'd bet if they're willing to trade Bled they're very open to picks in 2018 and beyond.

I don't think bled would like sitting without injury. I could see him getting behind resting on back to backs and 1 every 4 or 5 games.

If we are worried about his knees we should rest him. If not, no need to rest him. Sure it might help our pick, but we will get a good one anyway. He needs to continue to develop chemistry with all the guys. That last assist to to ratio was great. At one point is was like 10-1 or something. If he can continue to improve, he might be worth that big contract. He needs to play to continue to improve and grow with the team, and if we were to trade him, playing him helps that scenario as well.

I just expect Knight traded for an expiring.

If we're doing that we might as well give him to the Nets and hope he helps them get some wins. They have no desire or reason to tank.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
