I really really like JJ and he's top of the board (minus Fultz).. but Porzingis is THE Modern Big man that the league is moving towards to... in a few seasons on his prime you have a potential rim protecting Dirk Nowitski... Phil Jackson is either trolling or just being silly... at their absolute potential peak, Porzingis would be worth more than KAT, yes I said it. I see Porzingis as a potential 25ppg 10rpg 2bpg stretch 4/5.... who no one can guard due to his height and mobility.

KAT is already a 25/10/2 stretch 4/5

He averaged 25/12/1.3 and shot 37% from 3

Raw stats alone doesnt explain my main point.

KAT is a beast no doubt.

But Imagine him playing next to Melo and a triangle system with the incorrect players.

I envision Porzingis as a 25ppg being 1st, 2nd option or even 3rd option. Similar to how Durant is, basically easy 25ppg. And unstoppable whilst helping his team win games due to the mismatch ala Warriors style.

Not only that... Very very comfortable to score outside all game... Then go inside when required. A shot blocking Dirk Nowitski.... Raw numbers alone cant justify the impact.

KAT is the main guy in a traditional system. Beast inside player mainly.... Again he is a star center. Porzingis is more of a star PF/ C. Lets just say both can play together for sure

"Whilst"?? How old are you? :D

I'm going to cream my pants if we get JJ. Finally a Jayhawk that I LOVE in Phoenix.

What I been saying the last week now. I guess I'm fine with Josh Jackson.
In case this hasn't been posted...

It will be very interesting to see if the Suns do keep Jackson though. Part of me feels like if Sarver/McD wake up tomorrow and feel like we should compete now then I could see them trading Jackson for Butler.
I think McD has learned also to not take prospects to lunch/dinner anymore.

Yeah, he is so close. If he is available I am absolutely sure that we get him. Watson wants a player like him badly.

In a pre-draft interview Wednesday with ESPN, Jackson confirmed he did not work out for Boston.

"They did a little bit of moving around with their pick," Jackson said. "I felt like they made it pretty clear who they were going to draft with the No. 1 pick, so I didn't really feel like it was worth either of our times for me to work out with them. But then when they, you know, did the flip and went to No. 3, by then it was too late."

Jackson was asked if he was concerned whether the decision to skip a Celtics workout would affect him in Thursday night's NBA draft.

"It could, it may or may not," he said. "But like I said before, I'm just happy to be here. Wherever I end up Thursday, I'll be happy."

Ford said this news was BS and he wants playing time he feels he'd get in Phoenix or Sacramento

I really don't think Jackson wants to go to the Celtics. I feel like his agent told him to say these things to save face just in case the Celtics do pick him.

I think the bigger risk is Boston trading their pick and someone else taking Jackson at #3. From what I understand, the Knicks and Kings have both expressed their interest in Jackson, and it wouldn't surprise me if Chicago took him if they end up trading Butler to Boston.

I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.... :(

With what exactly? Danny Green? Dejounte Murray? Yeah, don't see how that happens.

Honestly though, I would try and find out who they are moving up for and then draft him if they don't get a deal done. I trust their scouting

OMG :(
If they go there Jackson would be an Spur for life. Imagine Leonard and Jackson switching on the perimeter.

They can offer Aldridge, Dejounte Murray and future picks.

Was going to say, they trading Kawhi now? Kawhi shaved his head, so maybe it was the hair that gave him super powers. They probably want Jackson.

Seriously though, they don't have anything to move up to No 3. Gambo shouldn't be reporting something so... silly.

Aldridge is on the way down, Murray is meh, future picks will be low, can't see it.
