Of course Golden State turns it on right before they play us.

Anyone watching Spurs at Mavs? C-Web: "I am such a big fan of Devin Booker. It isnt his fault what team he is on. He gets buckets every night and a lot of us are taking notice. We see you out there Booker!".

Weird timing on that one. Memphis beating OKC pretty bad. Memphis' bench + JJJ killing them....big +/- for their bench guys...got some serious defense there with Melton and Clarke. Clarke also perfect from the field, including a couple 3s.

Some people that is getting paid for commenting NBA, just don't watch games. As simple as that.

We got lucky, every team fighting for the playoffs over us had an L yesterday.

Sacto couldn't win to the Wolves without Towns...wow.

The timing is not the best because of Book's injury but it is an OK comment if you take into account the last FOUR years of the franchise. That's why Webber said that....he is not talking just about the last few games.

Charlotte, with b2b lose balls in same play, trying to pass to the post, lol.
Chris Paul again using his magic with refs in a play one okc clearly touch the ball with his feet and game over.

So which happens first:
A) Mavs in Finals
Or
B) Suns in playoff?

Close. I think Mavs might come close this year. They probably don't make finals but they could easily upset anyone. They beat the Lakers. The only team it seems they really struggled with so far is the Clips but you can be sure it will be Doncic's mission to figure them out. The only way to have the chance against him is with defenders the caliber of Kawhi and George...in other words, the best defenders in the league. Covington probably too. I think a guy like Bridges can get close to that caliber on the defensive side.

It's more likely the Clips figure him out. It's all about playing good team D against Doncic, which seems only the Clippers, maybe Denver and a few eastern teams are capable of. Bridges defended him on a few possessions in the Mavs game - not good enough, but with all the screens it's not easy to defend him 1-on-1.

Luka is the leader of that team, but in the playoffs he'll need all the help from the supporting cast. When they hit their outside shots the Mavs look good, but they also can go cold, e.g. both first and last qtrs vs the Raptors.

They have looked good without him though, competing with or beating tough teams. They are good at hitting shots, and are coached well. The Clippers have figured him out for now, and likely will continue to give him fits, so I don't think they can beat the Clips. Their best hope would be the Clips meeting the Lakers in the semis and beating the Clips, but the Clips still hold the edge there too.

Sure, LAC is the team to beat in the West. LAL are not deep enough, they looked good vs Mavs the first half and felt apart after that, Lebron is simply not that dominant anymore, maybe he rises the level in the playoffs as they will certainly need it. I would still pick the Nuggets and Rockets to beat the Mavs if they meet in 1st round, an upset won't surprise me though.

If the Lakers have a top 3 record in the league and Lebron is putting up 27/11/8 could he win another MVP?

Possibly, but he's probably behind Giannis, Harden and Doncic at this point.

So happy that Chriss, Bender and Josh Jackson are not on the Suns anymore. What a terrible picks they were, oh my...

Chriss is one of the dumbest players in the league by far. He deserves to be out of the league ASAP.

McD clearly didn't care about what players have in their heads when they drafted them.

Lebron the only player in NBA history with 30000 points, 9000 rebounds, and 9000 assists. Not sure who else could even get close to those numbers ... http://bkref.com/tiny/QAi7h

Return to Phoenix Suns
