What in the hell is going on with Crowder?

Now CP3 comes out in support of "HIS Dog". I mean we have heard no complaints from Crowder until recently. He seems happy sitting at home on his ass while we continue to struggle. He seemed to have totally separated himself from our team. According to what we know it was a mutual decision and he still is getting paid. Only recently have we heard complaints from him. Mikal has spoke up before, but no one else until CP3 today.

Choosing Cam Johnson to replace him in the starting lineup at the beginning of the season was the correct decision even though I would have had no problem with Cam coming off the bench and Crowder starting. I feel the 96 minutes at the forward spots could have been shared between Crowder, Cam and Mikal like the previous 2 years. I do not think Cam had to be the announced starter on opening night. I do not think that is the case. I think it is about us not extending him which I thought at the time. Why couldn't Crower have been a good soldier honored his contract and played for his next one?

I have been resistant to change at the coach and GM level but I could be wrong. This franchise has been a mess since our last seasons loss to the Mavs, now this crap.

Maybe Charles is correct. We need to clean house.

Hopefully a breath of fresh air arrives on February 8th.

The real irony of the Jae Crowder situation is Torrey Craig is currently 3rd in total minutes played for the suns this season. Had Jae shown up and stayed healthy he would have played a ton and had plenty of shots to boost his FA value this summer.

I’m of the opinion that this decision is less to do with starting and more to do with a contract extension. Which is, of course, ridiculous for a player of his talent to demand, but understandable if he viewed himself as a major reason for us being so good the last two years and wanted some recognition for it. I think he just got stubborn when we refused to extend and backed himself into a corner, expecting to be traded long ago. Whatever the truth is, he hurt himself as much or more than he hurt our team by sitting out.

Hmm,. so DLo, Towns and Booker.

Not sure about that. I would be happy with my three team deal yesterday for D'Lo

I get the Paul contract - I have offered that up but more so for a player signed next year - granted, that would be Towns

It'd be a slight downgrade from Paul (when healthy and at the top of his game). And a clear upgrade at the 3/4. So I think I'd have to take it because we'd be stronger for the long term.

Keep Booker and Bridges, trade all the rest.

Can't get Towns, he is ineligible to be traded until this summer. We would also have two supermax contracts. Not ideal.

If the suns were to move on from Ayton amicably! I'll say this premise again!
Ayton/ Crowder for Vucevic/ P Will/D Jones Jr/ Dosunmu/ Portland 23' 1st.
**We'd have his full bird rights too.

I think this would be more towards a 3 way trade with Collins going elsewhere and us receiving assets back in the process.

So glad we aren't trying for this scrub.......like at all!! He'd definitely do nothing to help us and will be outta the league in no time. LOL  J/K of course, But we do actually need to be realists about things and make a concrete determination on our course by the deadline IF no significant trade deadline moves are made and we continue to struggle rather than to continue undercutting ourselves both ways. :-?

Regurgitation for clicks is all I see. NBA journalism is embarrassing.

There is one big circle jerk with this stuff where one person throws out something then like 9 others 'report' it and typically take what was actually said out of context.

I'm definitely curious as to what the cost might be for this kid. He's a flamethrower, and we could definitely use that! Jae Crowder or maybe even Shamet or Saric for Hyland/filler/ 2nd? :dontknow:
