Ray Ray last post on the other thread was.
If we move on from lebron expect multiple moves.
So... Will see see also was told it's going to be a bumpy road.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Re: 2014 Official FA Thread 4: Is The Dream Over?
Dragic's one year deal at $7.5 million scares me. We're keeping Bledsoe, no quetion about it. I wonder if McD is thinking if its worth paying 2 PG's $13-$14 million a piece. Thats a lot of money locked up at the guard position.
I want us to keep Dragic and Bledsoe. So fun watching them. But long term it makes you think if the right offer comes along, if we'd ship him out for a big man (Hibbert, Love, Ibaka, Horford, etc).

No being a hater but I'm damn sure if THE BIG 3 are back next season there is NO WAY they win a championship. They need a quality C and I don't see where they are going to get that. Just being a realist.

Well, not surprised. Once Riley got Granger and Josh McRoberts - to me, it was pretty much done deal for the Big 3 back to Miami
So, what is Plan B....hmmmm
Which to me, is just laughable. Those guys are solid additions sure, they do nothing to address Miami's lack of post defense or relieve the pressure on Lebron.
We need to turn our focus to beating the elite out west. Come on McDonough.
I think BobbieL was joking. But yes, it is laughable. I don't really see how the team can be any better at all.

It would be smart especially after drafting Ennis.

haha of course they won't win the championship. NO ONE in their right mind believes that McBob and Granger would have prevented the Spurs from DISMANTLING the Heat this year. Those two wouldn't even get you a game in that series, 4-1 ALL DAY.

Plan B consists of me finding Lebron somewhere here in Vegas, desperately pitch him to join the suns, thus eventually convincing him on the idea, and BAM! Don't worry fellas, I'm on it!

Dragic stays .. They'll go after Pau Gasol and Lou Deng.. I'm not sure what other names they're going to go after via trade.
One thing is for sure, they will NOT jeopardize their assets or going to sign mediocre FA for the hell of it

All bias aside, I think LeBron is making a mistake. Would be very interested to hear his reasoning. Has to be Miami, Cleveland would be utter stupidity.
Lots of bias though.
Miami: 4 straight finals appearances. If Big 3 show up, especially in the east, still favorite to get out of the east. Hell, adding McRoberts and Granger, although not the best players, were better than majority of their bench last year. Cole returns. Haslem. Ray Allen. Maybe try and get Alan Anderson (putting Wade as Ginobli-type 6th man).
Cleveland: Cleveland suffered from a) Kyrie isn't a franchise player. A great player. Not franchise. b) terrible terrible coach. They hired a unique coach being from europe and what not, but everyone says it was a fantastic hire. They have the talent (and just added Wiggins who I think is the best player in the draft). If you put LeBron on that team, they're still the favorite out of the east.
Suns: Are we more talented? Absolutely. But honestly, he isn't a good fit here. Dragic and Bledsoe are slashers. They need the ball in their hands. They don't shoot the 3 ball all that well. How are you going to have 3 ball handling slashers who are average 3 point shooters in a lineup together. I'm sure they would still win due to the LeBron effect. But the best teams for LeBron are teams that can space the floor. Put the ball in his hand. Have 3 shooters surrounding him. Let him go to work and dump off to a big or kickout to a shooter. That is a team LeBron needs. Shooters. Shooters. Shooters.

He's not a free agent, but does only have 2 years, $17 million left on his current deal.

Signing Deng is going after mediocre FA in my eyes, I do not understand why we would want him, it's not even as if he's a systematic fit either.

Gambo has those names a few weeks ago so this makes sense a Plan B with Frye leaving town, Gasol and Deng.
Thanks for the updates Ray.
I like they aren't jeopardize assets for mediocre players. I mean, I don't mind giving a guy a one year deal to keep long term cap space. But no more Warrick or Childress or Banks deals. Thankfully!

Yay for Dragic, but I would rather not sign Deng or Pau.

Meh,
Part of me would rather not have Lebron on my team.
F him!
...and his ego
...and his entourage
...and his flips
...and him trying to control the entire front office

Huuuuh?!? Won't jeopardize assets, as you also tell us we're pursuing Luol Deng and Pau Gasol? Two guys who, while not mediocre, have both stated that they are looking to cash in on big long term deals. In what way is signing those two not compromising our assets? I mean I guess if you don't consider flexibility to be an asset.

Interesting. I'd much rather go after youth/upside in hayward at $12M per yr than Deng or Gasol at near the same amount. Doesn't seem very McD of McD
