So we would need to move about $13.9M to sign Aldridge. Maybe we can work a reasonable deal with Portland where they get the Morri and one more young player plus a few draft picks for LMA. Get to keep Len, Warren, Granger, Booker, Tucker, etc

Hmm I read somewhere it was 20.3.

Weird ... says $18.9M is max on realgm for a player with 9 years in 2015/2016

http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/info/salary_cap

That's based on a cap of 67.1 (28.234%), and I think it's going to be more like 69, so applying the same %, if that is how it works, would make it roughly $20.01 million.

Portland and Miami swap Bosh and LMA. Plus Miami throws in some cash, young player, and future draft picks.

Fuqqq. That actually sounds like the best possible scenario for PDX, they would take that in a heartbeat. But LMA would really want to play in South Beach and has to willingly force an S&T since the Blazers brass are unwilling to facilitate one to clear cap space for a pursuing team

From the way reporters are talking, it's possible the Suns are expecting Detroit to waive Granger and sign him back here afterward, plus go for STAT.

I'm leery of the Suns giving up both players in a S&T.

PG-Bledsoe
SG-Knight
SF-Warren
PF-Aldridge
C-Chandler

Bench
Len
Goodwin
Booker
Leuer
Alec Brown
Gerald Green(maybe)

Bench game looks a little weak. Now if they were able to acquire Stoudemire and some backup PG, it would look a lot better.

Bosh is more of a liability for Portland than an asset, don't see them agreeing to that.

Suns gotta have a handshake deal with Dallas on a sign-and-trade for Chandler. Kieff plus a first round pick is really good value to get LMA.

Lol I can just imagine now how Mook's going to go on a mission when we play him and score a whopping 15 points on 50 shots to prove trading him was mistake.

Best case scenario.

Tucker plus 2nd round picks to Dallas for Chandler.
Sign Aldridge.
Sign Chandler.
Sign Knight.

Resign Granger when he's waived if he has anything left.

Sign Mo Williams as a backup PG

I'm hearing conflicting reports. Can Phoenix not just trade Tucker to Dallas for Chandler and keep Kieff?

And can we work the trade exception via a 3 way trade with Grizzlies, throwing them a future 2nd for their trouble, in order to keep Kieff?

David Aldridge just reported LMA cancelled his meeting with the Knicks.

Kinda bummed about Granger. We could have used him if he was healthy.
