In 2013 we won 2 late games to overtake Cleveland by 1 game.

They won the lottery with our balls (that we gave up in the last week).

Pleeeaasse not again.

Wow. BKN with wins over CLE and IND?

Time to stop fantasizing about trading down from 3/4/5 and bust out those Ben Simmons/Brandon Ingram draftexpress videos.

I've extended my star potential to a top 4:

Tier 1 - Simmons
-----------
Tier 2 - Hield, Ingram, Bender.

Given we can't control winning the lottery, as long as we get one of them, I'd be happy.

3rd last gives us a 69% chance of top 4 pick, and 96% of top 5 pick to get that done.

Yeah, I can totally see that playing out. ESPN now projects us to have a worse record than Brooklyn.

Monday night is HUGE for the tank.

A loss @ Minnesota would pretty much ensure that we won't fall past 4th. This is a must lose!

A loss @ Minnesota and a Brooklyn upset in Miami would make the 3rd spot look like a real possibility!

Do Brooklyn think they can save points for another game.

Hopefully. Young rested tonight, but maybe that's a good thing since they were down huge early. Hopefully Lopez ended up resting quite a bit on the bench too so he doesn't take a game off.

Of all the games I thought Brooklyn would win, this was one. WTF?

I'd like them to win a few more just so we can win against Washington on April 1st without worry and put the dagger in Keef's playoff hopes.

Another Washington loss, they are now tied with Dallas for the #12 worst record...this pick on that #12 - #14 range can be gold with McDonough here.

There are interesting prospects on that range, hopefully the Wizards lose tonight against the Kings too and we are one step closer to secure a late lotto selection.

Washington is now pretty much done. They probably need to finish at least 42-40 to even have a shot at the 8th seed. With only 8 games left, that means going 6-2. I don't see that happening. Excellent! :D

Woot! Crucial loss for us tonight!

Let's hope for a Brooklyn win tomorrow so we can beat Washington and kick them out of the playoffs without it messing with our tank!

If Washington lose to Sacramento at the moment, they'll be 1 game clear in 12th.

That would be an McMiracle return for Markieff.

No, we need to lose. Our first pick is far more important than our second, and them losing more worsens their odds at jumping into top 3, if only a little. We NEED to ensure we finish worse than Brooklyn.

Whether the Washington pick is 12 or 15 on average doesn't really matter.

I'm all for getting into the elite of the elite where teams like the Minnesota franchise can even get turned around.

Well KATs don't exactly grow on trees, so fat chance of that happening. Twolves had such bad lotto luck it was a miracle they held on to the first pick even with the worst record

Markieff Morris is visiting us for some Foolishness.

They're now 4 games out of playoffs with 7 to play, we can effectively knock them out.

Undecided about what I would like more.

Yeah. I'm actually pretty excited about that pick, despite people already blasting this draft class. We could end up with Chriss, who has a lot of potential, Labisierre who was supposed to go #1 in preseason, Ellenson who many wanted at our 4th or 5th projected pick, Rabb who can potentially be a really good 2 way guy, or even a guard like Baldwin with a crazy wingspan who could do some things defensively. There's a lot to like that should be available around that spot.

Currently we have a 1.5 game lead over Brooklyn for the 3 spot. They have played one less game.

Suns play: Washington, Utah, @Atlanta, @Houston, @New Orleans, Sacramento, LA Clippers
Nets play: @Cleveland, @NYK, New Orleans, @Washington, @Charlotte, @Indiana, Washington, Toronto

I see us beating Sacramento for sure. MAYBE Washington and New Orleans. Though the Clips may have nothing to play for by then, I expect them to play hard in order to work Blake back in.
I see the Nets beating New Orleans and MAYBE Washington once or twice. Toronto likely will rest some players since they won't be playing for anything by that point. That's winnable too since it's in Brooklyn.

Bottom line is, this race is coming down to the wire. We can't afford to win games like against the Wizards just for gratification.
We've competed really well the last few losses so I don't see us losing out.

This is going to go down to the final game I believe. And if that's the case, Goodwin, Jenkins, and Williams better see a LOT of minutes.
