that's the problem - finding the right fit . i like the idea of Aminu in Portland but that means MEyers Leonard.

Suns could take Aminu outright for one year - but does Paul Allen need to save money. He is pretty well off - :)

Dudley also says he has a no-trade so he has to sign off on anything

Dudley has a no trade? Wow!

a buddy of mine told me as I e-mail or text Suns "trade ideas" involving Chandler and Dudley and he says Dudley has a no trade as part of his deal. not sure if Dudley is joking but on twitter, Dudley always says that. I mean, the 30/3 for the JYD wasn't enough

So here is a question - if the Suns offered this - would this be enticing to the Magic:

(I think you can add players in a sign and trade - that's what this trade is based on - AND, bigger question, is Aaron Gordon worth Bismack Biyombo)

Chandler, Warren, Chriss (27m going out ) and Bucks pick for Gordon and Biyombo (42m coming back)

this also means I think the pick would be Ayton. The Suns can get to around 18m of cap space - would need to "add contracts" to make the numbers work. i am just wondering if getting out of Biyombo is an incentive for the Magic

I would not trade Warren. That is too much.

If we are gonna overpay for Gordon (at least $100M / 4 years) I would not give up more than Chandler, Chriss and Mil pick.

Warren at his money is more valuable than Gordon at the max.

... And you want to throw in Chriss and the Bucks pick, AND take back Biyombo? Gross.

If Gordon is going to cost 25 -- and the Suns can get to 18 - that means like at worst Chriss, Daniels and picks for Gordon. But pretty much, that would be your offseason move - I am not sure who the PG would be unless they draft one or roll with Knight Ulis Canaan, Shaq types

I tend to agree that I would shy away from Gordon at 100/25 - I was just trying to figure a way for Orlando to not match or agree to a trade. TAking Biyombo to me has value -- just not sure how much to Orlando.

But this offseason needs to be - for me, more than signing Gordon, drafting Ayton/Doncic and getting Knight back..

Hope Chriss can turn it around... but not holding my breath...

"Marquese Chriss was at the Suns draft workout on Friday.

This is good news for Chriss after he admitted that he slacked off last summer. Chriss said he put on weight last summer, which both the team and he cited as part of the reason his season got off to a bumpy start. Maybe he can turn it around, but he will have to prove it after a colossal letdown last year."

IMO there's a much higher chance that Chriss will be a good NBA player in the future than Bender.

I kind of agree just because I think Chriss has a wider range of outcomes so if he ever figured it out he has the better chance to actually be 'good'. But I think he also has a higher likely hood to be out of the league in 3 years if he doesn't figure some things out. Where as I'm not sure Bender will ever be 'good' but I think his 3 pt shooting and ability to move his feet on D probably keep him on an NBA roster as a role player.

maybe its a bad comp but i would just like to see Chriss become a better Nick Collison or like Amir Johnson

rebounder
decent offensive game
good solid defender

tristan thompson, in fact pick 4 - bangs the glass on offense and defense. doesn't do much else. maybe chriss can becomes something like that.

Unless McD is infatuated with Gordon, I don't want him here. If we do make a play, I hope we only offer him a deal and hope the team wont match.

Anyone listen to Triano's radio interview yesterday? He said it's best to keep it simple with Chriss and it can be hard to get through to him "depending on the day." Not sure if Triano isn't a good motivator and coach or if Chriss is just destined to fail. Possibly both.

probably both

gambo a month ago - after the season - was sure Chriss was "gone. he's gone. they don't want him back."

granted, like how Mike Woodson was going to be an Assistant Coach and that hasn't happened - so remains to be seen about Chriss. i am guessing Gambo was just talking based on the frustration of the season. granted, I can also see Chriss added to a trade.

Maybe this is the wrong thread, but in regard to Chriss' attitude/mindset: I have seen both Doncic and Ayton play (highlights obviously) and they both seem skilled and they both seem like they have certain flaws. What i am most interested in is who has the 'it' factor. The interviews will be huge. Who is willing to recognize the flaws in their game and who is eager and willing to work toward improving their overall game? Who seems receptive to criticism and will take it in such a way that they get better? I think McD is leaning toward Ayton, so I feel like he will go into that interview with a bit of a bias. I wish Doncic and Ayton could interview anonymously so there would be no preconceived notions.
