It says my invite is invalid....
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

It doesn't look like I can set the rosters until after the draft, so it seems like I'll be keeping a list of available players in a spreadsheet y'all will be able to access. Unfortunately you won't be able to see the pool of available players in Yahoo during the draft.

And as I'm now taking over NTB's team, my 7 keepers will be:

PG - Jeff Teague
SG - Klay Thompson
G - Jordan Clarkson
SF - Paul George
PF - Kenneth Faried
F - Tobias Harris
C - Andre Drummond
U - Montrezl Harrell
U - Mason Plumlee
B - Dante Exum
B - Trevor Booker
B - Tyler Ulis

Im pretty sure what you can do is start the draft (On Yahoo). Instead of doing it round by round you can change it to by team. Do that, then enter in who our keepers were and then just hit the "Save Progress" button at the top right corner of the drafting screen. That way once all the taken players are off the board, we can set the Yahoo player list to "Available players" and see who is left for us to draft.

......Just an option.

I'd just like to remind everybody of who I kept: Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Steph Curry, Russell Westbrook, Karl Anthony-Towns, Nikola Jokic and Devin Booker.

It's actually Kevin Durant, Gordon Hayward, Marc Gasol, Eric Bledsoe, Carmelo Anthony, Dragan Bender, and Juan Hernangomez

I'm taking over this team this season, but my keepers were:

Damian Lillard
Nikola Jokic
Goran Dragic
Buddy Hield
Serge Ibaka
Harrison Barnes
Steven Adams

Pretty damn happy with that group. The former GM left the team stacked lol.

Does anyone know who the missing team is? I can figure out most of them by team names, but not all of them.

That makes a lot of sense. In effect it will mean the draft this year will start in the 8th round. I can then give all the players their keeper status after the draft.

I think inactivity is a greater problem for a long-term league, we shouldn't be handing high draft picks to players who weren't active.

I agree, but at the same time, with a certain level of inactivity, we should replace teams, and no one will want to take over a team that has an especially crappy roster because they were inactive. We maybe also should set a minimum number of games played (unless massive injuries occur to players you cannot drop) to stay in the league. I think Phystic who had the bottom record has been inactive pretty often. If he is in, fine, but that team needs a good pick. If inactive again, we could replace.

I've been active I just don't post or necessarily check every single day. As for the season last year, ya some stuff came up personally that took my attention and with my team being horrendous it wasn't a priority for me. No worries I will be active and set me lineup. And if I can't I will step away.

Little late to the discussion but I think it's pretty unfair to not be dictating a nonlotto drafting system. That should have been decided when we did the original draft. Those of us that opted to go for youth get pretty screwed with some of the ideas being thrown about
