Not the best game to lose Chandler. Whiteside is gonna be a problem.

Bled doesn't care. He's the big winner in this mess.

Whether it's bad mouthing players during or after their tenures or indirectly bragging about playing Ainge in the draft McD just needs to be quiet. His reputation with players has already taken a hit multiple times and he's completely butchered the coaching situation. Will Sarver really trust this guy to find our fourth coach in five years?

I dreamt last night that I woke up to 160 pages of this thread because the 'final details' of the trade turned out to be Dragic and Knight for Love and the Nets pick. Nm that Dragic isn't even ours to trade. And everyone was super happy about it including Bledsoe.

I need to get a life!

I mean... are you sure? One never knows. Jason Kidd broke his ankle in his first game in PHX after we traded for him. And then we started winning a bunch of games without Cassell and Finley. The NBA is weird.

Monroe was very useful to the Bucks last year. Bledsoe could crumble into a pile without anyone touching him. The Bucks haven't looked great so far, but they also aren't bottom feeders.

I agree that worst case scenario is that we don't get the pick in the next two seasons and in 2019 the Bucks are a top team. I would hate to end up with the #28 pick in the 2019 draft and nothing more -- certainly not a great return over the long run unless we hit a home run with that pick.

Trading anything for Okafor (even a 2nd round pick) would be so **** stupid. There's no upside in this move. He will be an unrestricted free agent next summer and everyone else could pay him more than the Suns ($6M).

Proposed Monroe Trade:

Monroe + Daniels to Portland for Evan Turner and Zach Collins.

Portland needs cap relief.

Turner fills a role and the Suns loved Zach Collins during pre-draft workouts this year.

I disagree that there is no upside. Not like keeping the second rounder will do any good or provide more upside. Why not take a chance. Maybe he falls in love with Phoenix and wants to stay. If he doesn't, nothing really lost in my opinion.

I'd def take a shot on Okafor for a 2nd. Those are the types of moves you try when you are a trash can franchise. If the shoe fits...

We don't want Monroe. Okafor fits better. Get it done McD.

If he plays badly, the Suns traded something for nothing. If he plays well, someone will offer him a big contract, which the Suns won't be able to match. What's the point?

He plays well we win games.
Can’t we sign and trade him if it comes to that

It's amazing that he has such a bad rep lol

When player is overpaid people think he is worse than he really is.

Did he even play a game? Maybe they want to hang onto him for now until the Mike James stuff takes effect.
