OOF! Oubre done for the season. Something tells me we wont be seeing Warren again this season either.

Maybe the Jimmer signing was to offset the loss of Oubre (roster spot)

What are the odds that Warren plays another game in a Suns uniform? I'd put it at less than 50%.

Agreed. I say 75% he doesn’t play for the Suns again.

Now the super max they gave to wall obviously didn't work out so maybe Washington moves him before they have to deal with it.

This is the main reason why he’s been saying all the right things about the Wizards and how he wants to stay with them and how he’s happy and all that.

Same thing with Kemba in Charlotte.

Once they guys sign that super max, I bet they soon get frustrated and start singing a different tone afterwards.

I know you are being a bit sarcastic with this but I really don't thinks its bad. He is probably pretty cheap. If he can shoot the ball - and the Suns need shooters, worth the risk

As for those saying about Warren every playing for the Suns - 50 or 75% - I would agree with those odds and probably closer to the 75%.

Josh seems to have nominal value at this point where as Warren could have value that gets a veteran PG or PF. Now, it might take a three team trade - but his 10m salary might be able to get a player like Collison. Or Combined with the 2019 FRP if not Zion, those dollars to maybe get a Rubio. Granted, not using all those funds but say 14m of the 16m. Enough to sign a guy like Aminu. If the Suns got Aminu and Collison this summer -I think that would be a "solid no frills but what they need" kind of roster moves. I like that Crawford gave props to Bender - just not buying him yet.

Granted, I am predicating this that Tyler is brought back at his contract, no extension and Oubre is also back.

If Oubre is done and TJ does not come back, maybe we finish with 2nd worst record...

Every move this front office has made so far has been pretty on point the last few months. Instead of getting a **** attitude about a pretty minor move let's see what Jimmer can bring to the table the next 10 games. I just can't see him being worse than Jamal Crawford, plus he won't have the entitlement baggage either.

I was actually hoping TJ would come back and with Tyler, Oubre - really see how a somewhat healthy team could finish the year and how that would be going into next year

I truly do not care about ping pong balls this year - I wanted growth and more W's

My hope now is that Ja Morant kicks so much tail in the Tourney that some team wants to move up for him. But if that happens, the Suns still have to be smart and not want to draft him. :)

At least it’s Jim not Jon

And hopefully there are other names out there . The Raptors have Embry, the Nets have Thorn, the Clippers have The Logo - Suns might want to look into Stu Jackson, a mentor type person

I don't know why, But I just get this strange gut feeling that injury aside, Warren is being held out additionally to be included as part of a larger scale trade on or around draft night. Possibly something along these lines................

Phoenix suns / Memphis Grizzlies trade:

Phoenix sends- T.J. Warren/ Tyler Johnsons' expiring/ Milwaukee pick to Memphis.

Phoenix receives- Mike Conley.

Things are definitely gonna get real interesting around draft night.

Yeah, my first thought on seeing those is to show the fan base we are conducting a search and landing on Jones. Either of those hires would not make me happy.

Whatever the case, its a bad sign. They are either really looking at these two terrible choices or just not even doing a proper gm search. Hopefully its neither but i dont have much hope.

I'm viewing these names the same way I viewed hearing Jason Kidd's name when they were looking at coaches, I refuse to get mad unless they actually hire them.... Now if that does happen I'll rip them.
