I doubt it. They can throw ~ $55m at him over 4 seasons and I doubt anyone else is offering that kind of money to him. He was a pretty key element to their success and has done well as a starter in their rotation.

Just read a report that they couldn't come to terms with him and they are going after Klay in a S&T.

Interesting. Signing Jones makes more sense to me than the Thompson try. Klay is an outstanding shooter, but he's not the same dude he was even two years ago. That knee injury stole his career.

Pingalore is saying Klay to the Clippers though and he has been right multiple times

What is a potential trade for Nurkic? Any ideas?

3 team trade

Wendel Carter Jr and McConnel to Suns

Nurkic to Orlando

Little and future 2nds to Pacers

Would love that for our team.

Why would the Pacers do that? And Orlando would want our "31 1st

4 points better with Nurkic on court than any other player

Nurkic +9 per 100

That's no.1 seed

That speaks more on the quality of our backup centers. Though Nurk was pretty effective for us during the regular season.

Also having both Ayton and Zion on the Pelicans will be like watching the two laziest/most selfish players in the entire league.

I can't wait for the dumb quotes, disappearing acts and meltdowns if they even make the playoffs.

They'll just clog the paint

Half the time we were trying to get Ayton out of the paint apart from finishing CP passes

Just add Luka and you have the all Laziest/selfish team ever. Luka is #1 selfish player in the league and it’s not close.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

So it looks like we aren't changing the center rotation. All 3 Cs are screener/DHO types and non-shooters, so basically we want to play drop coverage on defense, and use the C as a passing hub.

Not sure how this ties up with Bud's 5-out spacing offense. My early feeling is that we are again constructing a roster not suited to our coach's strengths.

Also getting worried about shooting. Drafted 2 non-shooters. First FA acquisition is a non-shooter. Lost Eric Gordon who was giving you 5 3PAs a game.

Bud has consistently had teams in the top 5 in the 3PA. Not sure where those three are coming from unless the big 3 really buy into shooting more 3s.

Frankly, running it back with two rooks and two vet min signings isn't cutting it for me. I think the offense will look better with Bud, but if we're serious about running it back with the 'big 3', need to seriously explore trades for Nurk and Allen. The roster construction still doesn't make sense.

I like the Mason signing. Came out of nowhere but he can catch. It would be nice to get rid of Nurkic and Beal but that’s not happening so it’s whatever.

We have like one more roster spot left - which will go to someone like Monte Morris, Aaron Holiday or Cam Payne.

I like picking up Plumlee as a backup big. He brings good effort and is athletic and defenders at an average or better level.

We shall see. Trade options are very limited with 2nd apron rules
