I got a gut feeling that Mccollum is gonna be really good. That's my dark horse pick for the Suns.

Steven Adams. Although he has said repeatedly he wants to do the four years cos he respects coach Dixon so much for giving him the chance etc...

He really does have an excellent frame. If he comes out this year then I'd definitely use the Memphis/Laker pick on him. Maybe we could trade both to move up for him. If he comes out this year I dont think he'd be lottery.

Completely disagree. He will likely only come out if he has a good showing this season and once he goes through the draft process he'll end up in the top 5 imo.

I've watched Pitt's 3 regular season games and his impact on the court is immense.

The guy who I don't understand being rated so high is Noel. Aggressive shot blocker but has looked like a poor defender from what I've seen while also being extremely raw offensively.

This is a bad draft after the 1st five picks though, so I'd expect him to go in the Lottery.

I guess I forgot about that. Right now I think later lotto sounds right, around where Leonard was drafted this last draft.

Yes, I would rather have him than Noel as well. He bites on everything.

It seems that Adams is a top 3 player in this draft after I talked to someone on the Draft Forum. He's so raw yet so good already in his first 3 games. Looks like we'll have to have the lottery balls fall in our direction this year to get him.

Draft Jordan Adams with a late 1st if he declares, BEST shooter in the draft by far, it's not even close.

We have such awful production at the wings right now. We need Shabazz.

Zeller in foul trouble the entire first half against Georgia, only 4 points and 1 rebound in very limited minutes.

Tonight Shabazz and UCLA, 5pm pacific time on ESPN 2

With Shabazz eligible,

Suns FO need to do a Spurs 1999, and "rest" a lot of the veterans and allow the "kids" to "develop"... you get what I'm saying?

Bazz is playing poorly. It's very obvious he hasn't played with his team very much.

One thing I learned about the game was that Otto Porter is a beast.

Noel highlights showing his strengths. Athleticism, decent hands, shot blocking. Also cool hair.

In the UCLA game Georgetown had complete control in the second half, never losing the lead. Jordan Adams and Shabazz were brought in and started chipping away at it but couldnt get closer than 4 points.

Jordan Adams: Great scorer. Not athletic but can shoot and has a good amount of moves to put the ball in the basket. I'm not sure whom I would compare him to at this point.

Shabazz: Very athletic. First game of the year with very little practice time with the team, he looked timid with the ball in the first half. Looked much better in the second half scoring on a 3 pointer, a nice post up, in transition and at the free throw line.

One thing i have come to realize is that this is a Big Man draft. This draft isnt that deep at all, and if you look at most of the mocks/rankings Shabazz is the only small in the top 5 and most have 8 of the top 10 as C's or PF/C's.

Out of all the Bigs, my personal rankings for us are Noel/Zeller/Austin/McAdoo.

Next year is the exact opposite. A large majority of the top 10 picks are going to be SF's and SG's, with Wiggins and Parker leading the way.

Then get Shabazz in 2013

Hopefully package all other "useful" vets, and focus on youth development...

Then get Wiggins in 2014...

Dragic
Shabazz
Wiggins
Morris
Who cares

Thats my dream.... currently anyways... about Suns future.

Morris hasn't shown enough to be apart of our future core IMO.

Wiggins looks like a young Tracy McGrady though, similar body type and athleticism.

If we strike out on Shabazz, Ben McLemore and Archie Goodwin are both pretty good option as well.

Return to Phoenix Suns
