the rockets might try guarding him in the second half, they are going under ever screen giving him open jumpers

I would give him open jumpers too. You take that over him getting a foul or a layup.

I agree, but they either adjust or hope he starts missing cause right now he is on fire

It's a fun game so far. Equal parts driving to the paint to taking jumpers. If we continue this recipe I could see us stealing this game. However, I could also see our guys falling in love with broken jumpers, and that's what I'm worried about. The Rockets have no defensive players so we should continue attacking the basket, but we'll see how the 2nd half plays out.

Great job to pull back into this game. I think we actually played very well in the 2nd - sure we let a few slip but the fact is the Rockets are a pretty good team. As much as I dislike them, you have to acknowledge that they have perfect fits to Harden in Beverly, Ariza and even Brewer - 3&D role players know their roles and play to their strengths. Never going to hold a team to zero points but overall I'm happy with everyone's effort so far.

Someone else needs to step up in the 2nd half, Bledsoe can't do it by himself.

This game reminds me of the Hawks game where Atlanta didn't really give a crap in the first half of first 3 qtrs and then destroyed the Suns in the 4th.

Even Josh Smith is balling for Rockets.

Dunno what that comment is based on, but throughout the season Len has been very aggressive dunking the ball.
Thats why most fans here are really high on him because he doesnt "Gortat" his way to the rim, he dunks it when he can.

If Alex Len learned to go up strong in traffic, he will be a great center. He needs more strength in his game. Goes up weak at times.. Don't get me wrong I love his game but I'm one that believes a dunk is more than 2 points. Dunks ignites teammates and changes rhythms in games. One thing we truly miss from this team.

Last year Gerald was throwing nasty ones down and the team and crowd would feed off it.

Good game so far, we have to be prepared to play against an small ball lineup. Harden or Ariza can play some PF, Markieff has to punish them if they play that way in the second half.
Amazing game by Bledsoe, 23 points and counting. Len is out of control, 1-9 shooting. Hopefully in the second half stays more confortable and plays better.

I'm not watching this game. Can somebody tell me how and why Alex Len is 1-9 at halftime? I don't know how many 9+ FGA games Len had had this year, but it is very few. How has he shot 9 in just a half and only made 1?

Rockets have 61 points total. 40 of them have come inside the paint and 20 of them on the fastbreak.

They also have 20 assists in the first half compared to just 8 for the Suns.

If we can pick up the defense and start actually moving and passing the damn ball, we have a chance to pull off a major upset here.

Yeah, we're forcing Harden to shoot... this is good.

Zero contact on Harden on that three point attempt. Even the Rox commentator said "well the was no contact, but it was an invasion of his space"... What does that even mean?!

Explained earlier in the thread by multiple peeps.
Len getting offensive boards, missing them. Took about 3 or 4 jumpers and missed em. Too strong or too short. That ankle is bothering him or that rust from not playing, or both.

LMAO. Glad I don't have to listen to that garbage. Clearly it's the star treatment.

I met Eric Bledsoe the other day and chatted with him. I love the guy. Love how great he's playing tonight.

he's without any touch tonight... either missing with too much touch or no touch at all..

rockets is giving up the best shot for bledsoe (he's good in that 16+ft coming out of the screen
why are they doing it?

This is incredible. Best team basketball I've seen from the team all year. Ever play NBA Showtime where you get three alley-oops and the players catch team fire? We got that blue fire right now.
