This guy does not have a clue in his head that this season does not mean anything. Maybe he thinks he is on the hot seat and has to win these games or is going to get fired. Why else would you not play your young players more? Seriously, can any person on this board justify playing Warren ZERO MINUTES? What the hell is going on. Tucker is a horrendous offensive player. Warren is a better scorer as a rookie than Tucker will ever be. This is not the Suns time. Their time will be in the coming seasons. However that is never going to happen if Hornacek keeps making these boneheaded decisions and plays Green and Tucker instead of Warren.

Let me get this straight. You get mad when I say you are clueless about subjects you say silly things about, yet a coach that was considered COY last season, is really the one that is clueless?

This season may mean nothing to to you, but don't assume it means nothing to him. Tucker went into a slump for a game shooting, but the other night he was 8-12. Green has been a pro, and has taken his demotion in stride, even in a contract year. He was one of the first off the bench to celebrate Goodwin's three the other night, and always looks for the kid during the games.

I don't know why Warren didn't play, and I don't think that Price should get any minutes, but he only played four, and Warren and AJ don't play the same position. Morris was playing tough against Batum, and maybe Jeff didn't think it would be good for Warren's confidence to get locked down by Batum, who knows.

Tucker has been great defensively. Actually all our guys did last night, but Portland just made some amazing shots. The turn around no look swish by Aldridge with a man all over him was the night. We just could not make a shot down the stretch, and even when we took it to the basket and drew contact, we weren't getting the calls.

Oh well, I'm sure to get some hate for this.

When a 'highlight' is a cheerleading Green...you know we have sunk low

PS... I think you may be on to something JC :eyebrows:

Well... you ran it up the flag pole and saluted it

and in further display of the low....a three page game thread in the midst of a playoff push ? If this site is a microcosm of the fan base, then they have seriously lost their appeal. I expect some significant roster moves.

Ha, the .net game thread was 2 pages barely. Seems like a lot of the fan base has checked out already. Or it was a Friday night and they were just busy. But still...

Plus the college hoops.... seems there is more interest is future Suns than the current ones

Your boy Harrell is still working on his paycheck. What did you think of that kid Auguste from ND...? He wasn't shy around the rim against the heralded KY bigs.

Exaggerate much? Dang, I guess if you join that crowd you might as well start displaying all their traits, huh?

I'm glad it was a shorter thread, much less doom and gloom and second guessing every move or substitution from the local crazies.

Yeah he's been great. I think I am most upset about WCS rising from 14ish to #5 on Givnony's board. That's crazy. I know he's been good this tournament but look at his numbers...they aren't that great. Except, you know he averages 2 blocks and 7 boards a game in the tournament.

Have we given up on game threads.

I knew once we were out off playoff contention, Green or Thornton would get more minutes!

Makes a lot of sense too. We all know Green and/or Thornton are major parts of this team's future. They should get as many minutes as possible.

Time to play Warren and Goodwin the entire fourth quarter. Zero reason not to despite the fact some of you like the bigger lineup.

I'm glad WCS is moving up...that means it's more likely someone I like will drop. Like you said, WCS's #s are not great, and he's already a junior. A guy like Trey Lyles has similar numbers as a frosh, and much better numbers than when WCS was a frosh.

I used to be higher on Harrell. Too many good young guys with major upside. I like Harrell but I just am not sure I see him making it far in the nba.

AJ Price? What will the apologists say for this one? Eight minutes for Archie.

Make it stop.

Hornacek does not like Goodwin. There is no other possible explanation. Down by 30 points and Hornacek puts in Price instead of Goodwin? It seems obvious to me Hornacek is not a fan of Goodwin. Goodwin has the shortest leash of anyone on the team too.

I was thinking it meant he doesn't like him at the point, but as the off guard. I'm glad to see Bullock, but I wouldn't mind a Price/Goodwin/Bullock/Warren/whoever lineup right now.

This is looking more and more like a fact every single game. I am convinced at this point that Archie and Jeff have a bad relationship.

I have a solution. How about we get rid of the one that is permanently holding the team and franchise back with bad coaching and keep the one that was getting screwed over?

TJ Warren is a spark of hope.

He's shot 50% or better in 13 of his last 16 games.

15 points per 36 mins too, so on solid volume per playing time.

I think it's just that he wanted him to be able to finish the game, so he waited until about the 8 minute mark.
