Several teams that were interested in Morris said the asking price was still too high and that’s made the progression toward serious talks a slow-moving process, league sources told Yahoo.

Morris’ recent benching and suspension have also hurt Phoenix’s leverage in reaching a deal.

Wtf McD, what the hell are you asking for? Anthony Davis? Andrew Wiggins?

Instead of just getting rid of this turd outright, McD's trying to hustle some team in a trade for this idiot Kieff?

Good grief!

Every second he's on the roster, that's a second too long.

Well maybe he could. As long as the cereal is expired and about to be thrown out. But you still have to pay for it though.

Alot of people here owe you an apology. You got picked on for your hate for the Morris twins but looks like you were right the whole way.

A lot of people felt the way he did and all opinions are welcome. He got picked on for posting the exact same thing in every single thread every single day for months, as if people hadn't seen him write it 1000 times already. You have a tendency to do the same thing quite a bit.

Posting the same thing in every thread every day is not something that is supposed to happen in these forums.

The rules say that. I have posted them and bolded them in very large letters.

Actually I'll post it again in case you guys forgot. From Howard, under the forum rules.

3. Do Not Derail Discussion

Members who disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users’ ability to engage in real-time exchanges may be warned, Suspended or Banned.

Sometimes there are controversial trades, signings, decisions, etc. made by teams. It is ok to state your opinion but please do not keeping beating the drum negatively on that team's forum for weeks, months or years after the fact over something you do not like.

We are a forum for constructive but positive discussion.

4. No Trolling

I'm tired of seeing these posts be reported for these rules being broken.

You guys make some good, meaningful posts at times, but at other times repeat the same thing over and over and over and over.

Yeah, he's probably holding out for one of those guys. I'm surprised you think that.

He needs to be traded, but team are probably low balling because they know we are in panic mode. If the deal is crap, I wait a little longer. I'd still do Jones and Lawson for him and Tucker though.

Two straight years of player controversies and needing to trade someone, this is getting stupid!

I dont see why people are so upset. McD is doing his due diligence in securing us the best possible return for Morris. Isnt that his job? Isnt that what everyone really wants in the end. I can see it now, if he traded Morris for some crap offer and next season Morris starts balling like we were expecting him to do here, those same people that were complaining about McD not trading him asap would be complaining that all we got for him was crap and we could have done much better. It happens all the time with damn near every trade that any of our GMs make. Some people just arnt satisfied with anything.

I mean for the love of god, people are still complaining about the Lakers draft pick. The pick that wont be going anywhere this year, as the Lakers will have a top 5 pick. Will they still suck next season? Who the hell knows, but what i do know is that they will have a ton of cash to spend in FA, and we all know (and complain) that they tend to get the FA's that they want very easily. Its the lure of the bright lights in LA. Its the lure of playing for the Laker Legacy. No matter what they will always be a big draw for the leagues top talent.

We got Knight for that pick, and he has been a borderline all-star this season. We have his signed to a great contract. He has value around the league and i can think of a handful of teams that could use and would love to have him as their starting PG.

My point is, let McD do what he is here to do. Everything would have been fine, but once again Keiff has found a way to f**k us up. Blame Morris for not doing what he is supposed to do instead of blaming McD for doing what he is supposed to do.

A part of me wishes we would've kept Kendall Marshall when we traded for him last season. I've always preferred pass first point guards, and he's actually a really good three point shooter. I wonder if Philly is willing to move him after acquiring Ish.

Doubt it as they are waiving Wroten.

F Marshall, that guy is useless - classic hollow stats guy.

They should call Washington and trade Kieff for Dudley straight up. Then trade Tucker + Goodwin to CHI for Gibson + Snell.

Couple of guys who play hard, defend and they're both going to tell someone who's dragging ass that they're dragging ass. Snell has some good 3 and D potential too.

Are you for real? You wanna swap Tucker for Lawson? One DUI case for another. And have you not realized Lawson is a point guard. A 5'11" point guard. So you want Bledsoe, Knight, Lawson, and Price on the team.

How much longer do you wanna wait to trade Markieff. You think the offers are bad now, just wait until the season spirals more and more out of control. You think Markieff is suddenly going to turn it on to regain any trade value. It is over. There is zero leverage. It is only going to get worse. The Suns are in far beyond panic mode. The Mavericks or Rockets might be in panic mode. The Suns are in the "we have never been close to this bad in our history" mode. I spoke to Suns fans who have watched the team for many decades and they all say they have never seen anything like this.

Yet you want to wait a little bit longer to hold out for a better deal. You would probably hold onto him for the duration of his contract if you do not get what you consider a fair deal. What do you consider a fair deal anyway for someone that is accused of felony aggravated assault, complains about fans, tanks games on purpose, publicly demands a trade, and now throws a towel at his coach during a game. And I believe his apology on twitter is about as sincere as when he said he wants to be in Phoenix on media day. The guy is a liar. So what do you think is a fair deal for a player like that?

Letsgosun.... You know NONE of us here have power to make trades. We only propose what we think are good options.

Lawson is a tremendous play maker... So he has value.

Id trade Tucker for him... Then maybe flip Lawson in another package.

McD is crafty... One thing he is.

Some of these trade ideas and reactions are a bit silly.
An alternative option is to let Hornacek go, let an assistant ride out the season and don't make any moves unless they make sense.
Morris doesn't need to be dealt. Get his attitude back on track and build his value back up.

No panic moves. The only one that should be done soon is letting coach go. I imagine it'll happen after xmas or right before the all star break

Agreed. I hate Kieff but McD is trying to arrange the best deal possible.

The Lakers could have a top 5 pick but if it's #4 or #5 then the 76ers will still take the pick since it's only top 3 protected.

I'm also one of those who don't think the Lakers will sign many or any superstar players this summer. I mean the only star FA that has signed with the Lakers in the last 20 years is Shaq. I think superstar players these days care more about where there is a winning situation as well as the money.

It was a rhetorical question. I would hope that he doesn't think that Kieff can net someone like that.

I agree totally and have said so several times.

However you are not allowed to repeat the same things that make the most sense over and over on this board yet your are allowed to make ill conceived trade proposals, that have no chance of every happening, if you are part of the click.

Some of the idiotic trade ideas need to be called out rather than sensible posts, like anyone suggesting that we add Ty Lawson to this roster. Just freaking stupid.

The Sixers just added the the Suns killer to their roster, Ish Smith. Guess MDA and Colangelo are already having an effect. MDA is supposed to be on the bench for the Sixers Saturday night and his teams share the ball. Ish Smith is a pass first point guard, he should be made to order for 7SOL. Now that is a great move. Wish we would have picked him up this summer. Booker & others would then have someone on the roster willing and capable of getting him the ball. Ish was a major factor in several of those 48 wins Hornacek had in his first year.

Who wins?
