I think he can be very effective into his late 30s, given his playing style, just like Nash.

Put Paul on this team in place of Knight and Bledsoe and I think you start getting serious interest from other free agents as well.

Paul has a reputation as one of the toughest guys to play with in the league. He is brutal with his teammates. I'm not sure, given that, that you will see FA's flocking to Phoenix. Obviously we'd be better in the short run, but I don't see how we're better in the long-run unless Paul could play at such a high level for another 7 seasons or so, or else we did indeed get those FAs.

Too bad he doesn't have KG's length, height, shooting, defense, and leadership, then I would sigh. I think you are a Booker hater, just calling it you out on it. You are on this board slobbing on Portis' knob and beating up on Booker........ Like ATH said, yea, it would be nice to have another young guy with potential, and if we could have gotten him after Booker cool, but you didn't make that distinction.

Become a Bulls fan if you want to talk about Portis and subtlely complain about Booker.

Didnt you have a Kaminsky fetish during draft day.

Now you have a hard on for Booker good on you.

I dont mind Booker. But I was really high on Portis and Looney on draft day. Now seeing Portis put up 16 points and 7-8 rebounds off the bench and Bulls wanting to move one of their big men to make room for him tells me he IS darn good professional player already.

Why dont you back off and clean up the jizz on your Booker and Kaminsky poster while your at it.

Jarret Jack is out, probably for a long time.
This is our oportunity to trade Knight and Markieff for Joe Johnson and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Can someone convince me why we should keep Tyson at this point? People have said we wouldn't be able to sign FA's anymore. Why? I feel like he can't want to be here right now. If anything, I'd argue that moving a guy if it doesn't work out should give FA's some assurance that we'll look out for them even after signing.

So it would seem we are on the search for a young big to play with or instead len. Portis seems untouchable now. So time to examine other rookies with potential and not gaining many minutes on their current teams. I wonder if warriors trade looney for the Cavs pick?. I think we can target Willy C Stein. The kings seems all in. We can use that desperation to leverage for Willy C Stein for markieff. Kief & Noah to sac(2 vets for a playoff push) Tucker, bellini, mclemore & collison to Chicago ( a bunch of wings for chi in effort to move on from the thibs era) and we get gibson n stein. We build around a young core of bledsoe, booker, warren, len, looney, stein. With a vet presence of gibson and tyson who take no ****. (Oh n knight who can remind us all how **** harden would be if he didnt hit any shots.)

Assuming the Suns keep losing, I expect some blockbuster trades happen on or after January 15.

The only reasons I would keep him is in hopes he plays against Len in practice, and Len learns things from him, and hopefully mentor Len, and because I think he will have more value after the huge cap spike. Once a bunch of teams strike out in free agency this summer, guys like Chandler and Kieff will have more value.

I'm hoping we trade Kieff before then, but at this point, since he is benched anyway, I don't really care unless we can't do the rumored Jones deal...I certainly think he has value, but both guys might have more value after free agency when teams miss out on free agents they are targeting.

They won't trade RHJ, as he is the only fairly high pick they will have for some time. But they would probably take guys like Knight and Markieff to compete, so if it came down to us dumping them for JJ and cap space, they'd probably do that. I think we can get more value for those guys in time though, if we need to trade them.

Is anybody watching the Spurs versus Rockets game on NBATV? I cringe at the thought of the Suns trading Markieff for Jones and Brewer. Jones is a -35 in 25 minutes. He has 6 points and 1 rebound so far. I never liked him but this is just awful. I would rather trade Markieff for picks or buy him out than take the Rockets offer. If the Suns did that trade, they would be stuck with Brewer's terrible contract and it would suck.

See the difference between you and I is this; I was high on Kaminsky and low on Booker. Once we drafted Booker I never spoke on Kaminsky again, I just sat back and watched Booker, and after I saw him play, I realized why we drafted him.

So, am I high on a guy who is 19 and can shoot, create, pass, attack, and displays heart? Damn straight. What, because I preferred Kamisnky means I can't like Booker?

Booker>Portis and it ain't even close. And Kaminsky put up 20 plus yesterday. Give him some PT and he is going to outshine that "man he plays hard and looks mean and disguises his lack of talent through hustle very well type of PJ Tucker guy."

Why? Is Winslow doing something I don't know about? As of now, it is definitely not a foregone conclusion that MJ messed up.

Anybody here interested in Meyers Leonard? He's a potential 50/40/90 guy and is still only 23 (will turn 24 in February) so he fits the age of our core. I'm quite impressed at the way he's transformed his game. He started as an athletic hustle PF who was limited to dunks but has become a stretch 4 to basically save his career.

He might be able to solve our PF spot. He's also a much better shooter than Leuer.

If true, every team in the league.
