Apparently if you dont consider Booker a friggin Michael Jordan with godly 3pt shooting... You deserve to be called out ... Number 1... I dont give a damn if you dont agree with me...

Number 2... Yeah celebrate and talk crap when Booker is having a great game but disappear when he sucks.

Number 3... I actually like Booker... But just not going to proclaim he is the next greatest thing since sliced bread. Ways to go and heaps of things to improve on

What did he say?

The interview guy asked him what he said to Booker after the game (amare, goran, and another heat player came and hugged booker after the game as he was talking to Wade who was patting him on the back)

Wade said he liked him a lot and especially his toughness and basically fearlessness at his age, said he is one of the future SG of the league and at only 19 has a good future in this league. Said he was giving a young player wisdom like they gave him when he was young.

Thats just a summary i don't remember word for word since it was a couple hours ago

He's 19, rookie season.. Nobody expects him to play like he's playing already at this level. He's the best thing to happen to the Suns for a very long time. He's going to have bad games, it's his first season!!!!!

Just saw his highlights, that's the best I've seen his mid-range game and it excited me!

We all know he can do the outisde shooting and spot ups which gets him to a certain Redick, Matthews level, but he was looking like the elite level guards hitting mid-range shots off the dribble. Very happy to see that.

If we're serious about building a generational contender, Len and Booker have to start for the next 5 years.

Not sure where that leaves $26m in Chandler and Knight, but suppose we need to reach $90m somehow, and you can't do it with rookies.

Beginning of the season/ pre-season he was off on those mid-range jumpers. Just slightly long or too short. I thought he was going to struggle all year with the mid-range shots and only shoot threes or drive for lay-ups. I didn't think he would be making this mid-range shots with so much ease half-way thru his rookie season (he's been hitting these since January). The best part of it is he's making it off the dribble, a lot tougher shot then the catch and shoot from mid-range, and I think is an even tougher shot then to shoot a three off the dribble.

Len with his 6th consecutive game with double figures, and his third straight double-double. I'd like to see him improve his blocking, because I know he can block, but at the same time, he played 40 minutes and didn't foul out so I guess he's picking and choosing his fouls more carefully which is good.

Wade trying to recruit more of our players... "give us a look when you become a free agent. we treat our players right."

Stop it, Wade. You can't have him!

In reality the only way our current pieces improve us to a top 10 team is from those 3 exceeding expectations.

Checked the stats Len is averaging 14/10 in his last 10 games. 44% FG, 70% FT.

Better effeciency than some better liked players.

But...um...I thought Len was "turrible" and "nowhere near Gobert's tier." I mean, he IS 22 years old; why he isn't already an All-NBAer is beyond me. He should be absolutely and utterly ashamed of his play and talent. Worst top-5 pick in the history of the league!

I thought Len looked really good in this one too.
I think, if he had a better supporting cast, he would be much more improved than we're seeing.

Hopefully get a high pick this year, get Bogdon in here, move some pieces/picks for a young prospect.
Keep Tucker since his energy could rub off on people. Keep Chandler for the vet in the locker room and stability.

I think Knight is the odd man out. Not that he isn't good, but we have a couple of other SG's in Booker and Goodwin (and Bogdon).

Let the team grow next year and then use 2017 to make a run at key free agents.

I know, right! McD must be really regretting not paying $17M for a 13.3 / 5.5 stat line PG though his Age 33 season. Much better than paying $3M less for a 24YO 19.7 / 5.1 stat line PG (in a 2 PG system, mind you, where he "shares" assts with Bledsoe). And you are right, he could be captaining this sinking ship, just like he did in our 25-57 season. A real 'Game Changer' that Dragic is!

Oh, and for those that called me out in the other thread about 'not being able to get past' Dragic's tom-foolery a year ago, it appears Dragic can't let go either. You know, the nicest guy who never talks smack...

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/241059/Goran-Dragic-On-Suns-I-Was-Glad-As-Soon-As-I-Got-Out-Of-There

And another point. It's apparently ok for those that bring up trading Gortat, or all the great things Colangelo did while here, yet I can't discuss Dragic's case from a year ago with out taking crap for it? OK. I'll be sure to make comments to those posters in the future that bring up junk from before Dragic was traded, since apparently that's the 'modus operandi' on the forums?? And just to be clear, here's the quote from the now 'locked' thread in which it was said, otherwise, I'd point it out there.

Man, someone is still really upset with Dragic a year after the fact.

But since I'm bringing up Dragic again, after another poster did, I figured I'd better address it before I get another 'shot fired' in my direction from discussing my displeasure with an incident that took place a year ago. I guess since I'm on the 'other side' of the debate, that's the unpopular opinion, on these forums regarding the Dragic incident, I'm open to ridicule and harassment for voicing said unpopular opinion? IDK, that's the general sense I take away from the whole deal. But maybe I should just change my opinion to fall in line with the others that think Dragic was blameless and it was all McD's fault; maybe then I could bring it up, as many on here do, and do not receive the same 'shots fired', as evidenced by this saintEscaton's original post on the matter earlier in the thread.

Is that about right??

NO IT WAS HORRIBLE BECAUSE YOU CAN ONLY GET STARS IN THE TOP 5! THE 13TH PICK SUCKS! DON'T BE FOOLED THAT HE WILL BE A STAR.

It kind of sucks that we have so much tied up in Knight, because if you use him as 6th man (which we probably should, then he may be harder to trade, though maybe not because he might score more). Maybe depending on opposing lineups, we should just give up on defense last year, or just hope they improve, and go with Bledsoe/Knight/Booker/Warren/Len at times in small lineups and demand unselfishness and ball movement, and if they don't comply, yank them.

Or start Len and Chandler and bring Knight or Warren off the bench (preferably Knight). Ideally you want another pg to play with Knight though, even off the bench. As AtheJ has mentioned, TJ McConnell would be perfect here with his defense, steals and passing....he doesn't shoot much and would just spread the floor and give it up to Knight for open shots.

The bigger question is would HE like the Suns to pick him up. I'm guessing the answer is no.

I think Knight is pretty unmovable right now mostly because there are SO many guards in this league and many still on rookie contracts. Some are already trying to be traded, like Teague (more of a pure passer). I mean, what team do you really think might want Knight? Orlando maybe would have but they just got Jennings (though he is expiring). We could maybe trade him for scraps just to clear cap space like Ilyasova (if they pick up team option) and CJ Watson and perhaps a 2nd round pick (or heavily protected 1st).

I just can't see a team wanting him as a key piece in a major trade. Some might say Utah, but is he that much better than Burks? A better passer, but Burks a much better 3 pt shooter... see comparison.. http://bkref.com/tiny/ULNwn

You are the main culprit continually bringing up Dragic. Personally I'd rather not have Dragic OR Knight.
